Is John Mayer a famewhore? Did he use Jennifer Aniston for photo opps and probably jerk off when those shots ended up on all the blogs (that last part is my own interpretation, obviously)? Yes. Of course.

SCOTUS has just ruled in favour of same sex marriage. The Hollywood Reporter posted a story yesterday about Hollywood’s “stromos”, identifying a Hollywood trend among straight actors appealing to the gay audience: Today's stromos are the flip side of gay actors who want to read straight for their careers: They are straight actors striving to read gayish to optimize their appeal — and maximize the number of butts, gym-molded or otherwise, in movie theater seats. PBS has decided to suspend the third season of Finding Your Roots as the result of an internal investigation… Whatever. Basically PBS has suspended the third season of Finding Your Roots because of Ben Affleck. You’ll recall, once he learned that some of his ancestors were slave owners, Ben asked the show to censor their findings. Full Story
Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt, two of the biggest and most well-liked movie stars in the world right now, have been attached to a sci-fi movie called Passengers for a while. The movie is about a deep space voyage in which a passenger wakes up early and then wakes up a fellow passenger to keep him company since everyone else is in suspended animation for the voyage. Ambra Battilan is a model who has gone to police in New York alleging that Harvey Weinstein groped her. They met at an event on Thursday. She claims that Weinstein told her to come see him on Friday at 6pm at his office for an “audition”. During the “audition”, she alleges that Weinstein asked her if her breasts were real, then tried to touch them, then allegedly tried to shove his hand up her skirt. Full Story

Late last night Marvel Studios dropped a bomb: They’ve worked out a deal with Sony and will take over production of future Spider-Man movies.
