Yes, I’m quoting Ebola. Please hold your fire! I'm infected. Just a little infected. It's not that I don't see the ridiculousness of Ebola, but I love ridiculousness. I think having an awareness of the dangers of Ebola is what sets me apart from those who actually believe in the Ebola. Okay, fine, I have Stars Are Blind on my iPod. It comes on right after Party In The USA in my “I Can’t Deal With Myself” playlist.

Well, this is it. My last TIFF BFF post. It’s with a heavy heart that I turn this in. I feel like the Chenbot has just let me out of the house after being cooped up all summer long, even though it’s only been two weeks and I wasn’t actually with anyone and only spoke to Lainey and Jacek on the phone, but STILL, it’s the SAME feeling!

I want to thank Lainey again for not turning to me that day and saying, “TTYN!” I mean, it was so nerve-wracking waiting to see if she’d pick me to be her BFF!

It was an absolutely wonderful experience. Lainey and Jacek, you guys could not have been more awesome! Encouraging, supportive, and just a gas to talk to. To the people who wrote in, thank you for your comments, good and bad, but mostly good! I’m gonna try to respond to you all now that I have more time.

Lainey has just left Toronto, but I will be heading there shortly to catch me some Kylie Minogue live in concert! Followed by a last-minute trip to New York where I’m gonna be at every Broadway show imaginable, so look for me at the TKTS line-ups. Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig together on one stage? Am. So. There.

Anyway, I’m all out of gossip. Lainey’s giving me free range gossip-wise for this post , but I don’t have much. The new Madonna greatest hits cd and DVD come out next week – though her exclusion of the American Life video creates a single tear in the corner of my eye.

The Emmys last night? I second that Neil Patrick Harris performance! And Kristin Chenoweth’s acceptance speech and plead to be on Mad Men, The Office, 24, anything!! Loves! But when Jessica Lange won for her portrayal of Big Edie, I was on the floor in a puddle of my own tears. She was amazing!

With True Blood gone till next year, I’ve got other shows to look forward to: Glee, Mad Men, Friday Night Lights (Oct 28!), Lost, 30 Rock, The Office, and Big Love. And of course, I’ll be dropping in on Lainey here for my daily dose of smut! Hope to see you!

And if anyone has any interesting CraigsList posts for me to respond to…

Take Care! Muah!!
