This is not Four...yet
Some random website posted last week that Alex Pettyfer was confirmed for Four in Divergent and there were panicked emails going back and forth and... well...
You must consider the source.
The report was quickly shut down. Pettyfer is not Four...yet.
He is one of the actors being considered but they’ve not made a final decision, and that leak last week further verifies that because it smells exactly like the kind of moves they all started making during the casting process for Catching Fire, the sequel to The Hunger Games. Jena Malone and Sam Claflin were both letting it out there prematurely that they’d secured the roles in order to mobilise fan support and demonstrate to the studio and producers that they were perfect for their parts. Pettyfer may have been trying to make the same play, only I’m not sure he received the reaction he was hoping for.
Is he your Four?
He’s not my Four.
I don’t want to know my Four. And I already know Alex Pettyfer and besides, hasn’t he already been a Four? In I Am Number Four?
Show me someone new.
Which isn’t to say I don’t find him attractive. In spite of myself, I did find him attractive in Magic Mike. He has a great voice. The camera really does love him. But Alex Pettyfer is Such.A.Prick, unless there’s been a personality transplant the last two years, there’s not much once he comes off the screen.
Here he is with a friend in West Hollywood yesterday.
