Or maybe it was because I was still trying to forget the night before – Amanda in orange, a dress that looked so cheap and so insubstantial, I wonder if Roland Mouret is a little embarrassed. Full Article

Isn’t it too big? Or is it the cut? The way it’s hanging above the waist there as the lines draw your eyes down, down, down...it’s not particularly flattering around the chest. And besides, the length, the colour, the style, it’s a really boring look altogether.  Full Article

This is a pretty elaborate dress. There’s a lot going on up top. And yet, for some reason, on Amanda Seyfried, it’s almost ...unremarkable. Why is that? God I really, really need to find a reason to wear my hair in a maiden’s braid bun. Hers, for sure, is a hairpiece. Most people, no matter how much hair they have, would need a hairpiece for it, just to make the loop that much cleaner. Full Article

As Duana noted last night during our Tonys liveblog, it’s just so plastic-y and cheap looking. It’s also not flattering. A belt, even if it’s ugly, normally cinches and accents the waist. This one has the opposite effect.  Full Article

I know some of you might hate the Elton John/Liberace-ness of this little shorts suit but if I’m her age, with her body, I’m all over it too. Sure, I’d love it even more in white, but electric blue works for me, especially in London where, you know, people don’t jerk themselves off over a whatever strapless Oscar de la Renta the way it is in other parts. Full Article
