Pacey-Con the video

You saw the photos yesterday, now Funny or Die has uploaded the video. It’s not the best Funny or Die piece ever, it’s a little contrived and obvious, but his shirt makes up for it, and of course the song, and the shot of him looking out his hotel room window kills me. Makes me want to go back and watch Dawson’s Creek from the beginning. Full Story

There’s Robert Pattinson’s unintentional comedy, and then there’s Pacey-Con San Diego 2010. The.Best. He’s the best. Joshua Jackson was at Comic-Con for Fringe. On his down time he decided to go back to Capeside, wardrobe and all, for some fan fiction reading, and of course a little Paula Cole blaring from a boom box. Full Story

Robert Pattinson gold

These photos and this video are making my life. Robert Pattinson went to the movies on Saturday with his agent. Then he hit up a party in Malibu. The paps were all over him. First time? No but this time a tweaky Pattinson was extra agitated about the attention, whining that they were following him, trying to enlist the help of the cops who didn’t give a sh-t, wandering around seemingly aimlessly, rubbing his nose in his totally inconspicuous, non eye-catching, blend-in-anywhere car. Full Story

Dumpster diving

This is what Bill Murray did on Letterman last night. That’s another thing about Letterman over Leno. Cool people prefer Letterman. Bill Murray definitely prefers Letterman. Bill Murray would probably dive into a dumpster for reals before giving Leno any more love than necessary. And Bill went back to Letterman last night to promote Get Low and to also test out Dave’s new dumpster pool. Full Story

How to give great interview by Bill Murray

He doesn’t do it often. He doesn’t work often. He doesn’t have an agent or a publicist. You can only reach him via 800 number. For reals. So when he does talk, he makes it worthwhile. Always. There was a great article about Bill Murray a couple of weeks ago in Entertainment Weekly about how reclusive and weird he is, about the infamous 800 number, about how you have to fax pages to a random Kinko’s if he’s interested enough to read the script – he’s everything you want your weird celebrity to be and he can back his sh-t up with legitimate skill, original, irreplaceable skill. Full Story

This is Leonardo DiCaprio at the premiere of Inception in LA last night. His boy Lukas Haas was there too. Lukas has a smaller part in the film and will also be working on Red Riding Hood in Vancouver which Leo’s company is producing. You hook up your friends. And they’ve been friends for a long time. Full Story

Marriage vs Engagement

Of course People Magazine has the all “exclusive” Carrie Underwood wedding photos. You get what you pay for. So all that bullsh-t drama leading up to the event, as Country Bitch tried to block public access, and was going full military on the secrecy of the mission and the location and not letting guests know where and when and whatever – all for privacy? Really? Not privacy, no. Full Story

Tom Cruise at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of Mission Impossible 3 in 2006 or Taylor Lautner in Pittsburgh yesterday shooting Abduction? Please. It’s everything. It’s the body type, it’s the mannerisms, it’s the overacting, it’s everything. And these days, Tom Cruise Jr has a bigger career than Tom Cruise Original. Full Story

TOMZINHO!

Apparently it means “Little Tom”, gifted to the GMD in Rio de Janeiro last night at the Brazilian premiere of Knight & Day. He doesn’t look thrilled about it. Or maybe that’s just his box office. As you already know, Knight & Day has underperformed, still not able to pass the $50 million mark after 2 weeks in theatres, and now heavily, heavily relying on foreign box office to make up the difference. Full Story

On Furious Love

Celebrity book excerpts are often the best parts of the book so that when you actually sit down to read the book, you find that you’ve already read the only parts worth reading. I worried that this would be the case with Furious Love: Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, and the Marriage of the Century after it was profiled in Vanity Fair. Full Story
