As Academy President Tom Sherak joked yesterday at the Oscar Nominees Luncheon:“We know awards season can be exhausting. Today is about taking a moment, taking a breath and realizing what a special family this is… So take the applause. This is probably the last time you’ll be applauding each other. Full Story
Clooney & Pitt wish this would derail Dujardin

So Jean Dujardin, the stone cold French fox who scored a surprise Best Actor upset at the SAGs for The Artist, has a new movie coming out in France. It’s called Les Infideles and it’s about a bunch of guys cheating. The ad campaign features images of the men, including Dujardin, in suggestive positions with women and racy taglines. Full Story
Suddenly not the favourite: George & Stacy at the SAG Awards
Joe Klamar/Jason Merritt/Frazer Harrison/Getty
As you know, as you’ve seen, George Clooney has been working it HARD the last 6 weeks or so for his Best Actor Oscar. Up to last night, he was winning everywhere. He won so much he’d accept his awards like monologues, prepared speeches about his parents toiling in the grain fields and appreciating his opportunities, not unlike the way a political candidate talks about this and that constituent during a rally in a barn somewhere in the Midwest. Best Beneficiary of Being in a George Clooney movie: Judy Greer at the SAG Awards
Frazer Harrison/Jason Merritt/Getty
You know Judy Greer. We all know Judy Greer. We’ve all seen a Judy Greer movie. I promise you, we’ve all probably seen at least two Judy Greer movies. Judy Greer is the only thing I liked about The Descendants, a film that continues to confuse me for all the love it’s received from the critics’ boards and associations, with a wickedly embarrassing voiceover and the kind of vision and directing you’d expect from a 25 year old hipster filmmaker right out of film school. Brad talks marriage, George just talks
Oscar polls close on February 21. A lot can happen between now and then. And while it’s been the thing this week to bitch and moan and complain about the Oscars and the process and the snubs and the old fartness of the institution, complaining about it with such passion, to the point where sometimes it actually feels personal, only reinforces the Oscars’ importance. George & Eva, George & Ryan
Check it - Eva Mendes was photographed leaving her office with Ryan Gosling’s dog George the other day. She took him to work! Ryan is in Thailand. He’s obviously left G in the care of his lady. Just like Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. And as I said in that case...It must be love.Love enough for her to go and visit him overseas? Not yet. Full Story
GG Worst Hair & Forever $400: Stacy Keibler
Wenn, Frazer Harrison/Jason Merritt/Getty
Nothing says small town to me more than poor hairstyling, where the “rules” of fashion and appearance have never been updated, one of which dictates that fancy parties require curls or updos. Making it exciting is taking it only half way up. This is what Stacy Keibler gave us last night. And just as we were starting to make progress - see here Full Story
Clooney the Candidate
Bauer, Christopher Polk/ROBYN BECK/Getty
Most people get up on stage when they win and thank a list of agents and lawyers and studio people. If they're genuinely surprised, like Octavia Spencer, we are treated to moments of endearing fumbling and mumbling. When it's a veteran, it can be cheeky and charming, gratitude mixed with bemusement, as was the case with Christopher Plummer. Full Story

George Clooney’s New Year’s wish
Bauer-Griffin, Flynet
What do you think it is...as he stares adoringly at ARod and his ass? I’m sure it’s just an awkwardly timed photo. George and his girlfriend Stacy Keibler are in Mexico with all his closest friends. Stacy seems to be getting on well with all the Clooney Crew WAGs, especially Cindy Crawford. But Cindy must be so used to this by now too. Full Story
