For the two of you out there who, like me, don’t feel the urge to ram a stiletto into your eyeball when faced with Gwyneth Paltrow, here’s some news on what our girl has been up to.

Shooting in NYC with Joaquin Phoenix and also, this weekend, Gwynnie dropped into Caroline’s Comedy Club for Susie Essman’s show with mom Blythe Danner AND Chris Martin (thanks K!). They drank Veuve, they did not shut down the kitchen and restock it with macrobiotic items, and were pleasant and unassuming.

Sounds like Gwyneth and Chris are all good for now. And apparently you CAN go out in New York without cameras around. Imagine that.

As for Chris – word is Coldplay’s new CD will be called Prospekt, supposedly scheduled for a May 19th release. Track list:

Some of the titles sound a little bit Soft Rock, like last time. Pray Xenu we’ll be pleasantly surprised by a new sound.

Am attaching photo of Gwyneth on set in December wearing just one of her many snotfaced expressions. I can almost hear her in my head: Darling… Bugaboo strollers are the Uggs of the baby brigade, haven’t you heard?
