Ashton Kutcher: what a great man

Hi!

PEOPLE  posted the grossest article yesterday about Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher. The title:

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher: How They're Preparing for Their Baby Girl

Fine. They could be decorating the room. Or going to breathing classes. Whatever it is that new parents do, they’re probably doing. Great.

You know how else they’re preparing?

A source told PEOPLE that:

"Ashton has been taking such good care of Mila. He's doting on her and telling her she looks beautiful. He understands she's going through changes and he hasn't judged her for it."

WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF????

Is there something to “judge”? Pointing it out that he hasn’t judged her means there’s something to judge.

What is there to judge?

And he’s some kind of f-cking hero now because he’s praising how her body is adjusting to the pregnancy and looking after her?

What’s next? Some dude doesn’t slap his wife around so suddenly he’s the husband of the year?

Being there for a woman who is carrying your child isn’t a bare minimum. It isn’t even an expectation. It’s BREATHING. You don’t expect to breathe. You just do it. It doesn’t require special acknowledgement. It doesn’t need to be recognised. And the fact that it has been recognised is maybe the grossest. Because we’ve somehow been conditioned to RESPOND to this. To be warmed by it. To be romanced by it. And it’s sick. It’s sick because in being moved by it, it means that that’s extraordinary, that what you consider to be “normal” is actually LESS THAN what should be RIGHT.

Yeah. That sure looks good on Ashton Kutcher.
