Ben Affleck was featured in Finding Your Roots last year on PBS. During the research process, it was discovered that he had ancestors who were slave owners. He asked Henry Louis Gates Jr (Skip) to not include that part in the episode. Click here for a refresher if you missed that article from Monday. Full Story

This is really cute. And also really interesting. Ben Affleck was in DC today, along with Bill Gates, to address the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on State and Foreign Operations. There was a Batman mention, obviously. I think he’s going to ride closer to the RDJ approach to being a superhero as opposed to the Christian Bale one: Mention it whenever you can. Full Story

Not even the Associated Press could resist this one. Because they're the ones giving us a gossip tease from the Oscars. According to the AP, during one of the commercial breaks on Sunday at the Oscars, Ben Affleck approached JLO and whispered in her ear. Whatever he said made her laugh, and then she "playfully" smacked him in the arm. Full Story

Ben Affleck is in Atlanta working on The Accountant. He’s the Accountant but really he’s an assassin. Today he was in assassin mode, shooting a scene where he comes up from behind on a dude and stabs him in the chest. Oscar nominee and likely winner, JK Simmons, is also in this film along with Anna Kendrick. Full Story

Ben Affleck and Anna Kendrick are in Atlanta working on a new movie together called The Accountant. He balances the books by day and is an assassin by night. When I first heard about this project, two words jumped in my head: Reindeer Games. That said, I trust Anna Kendrick. She wouldn’t be in a Reindeer Games, would she? Olivia Munn has a puppy and she’s been taking her puppy along with her to promote Mortdecai. Full Story
