Intro for March 7, 2016
Say you’re a parent participating in your kid’s school fundraiser. You might bake something? Organise the raffle tickets? Secure items for the silent auction? If you’re Beyoncé your contribution is a mini-concert. She performed at the Shrine Auditorium on Saturday at the Centre for Early Education’s 75th anniversary gala. Rumour is that’s where the Blue Ivy Carter goes to school. Bey performed Halo, Crazy In Love, XO, and I Will Always Love You. I’ve attached a few videos below.
You know what’s missing?
Not in the school budget, I guess.
In other Beyoncé news, she showed up at Sophie Beem’s first show in LA last night. B signed Sophie last year to Parkwood Entertainment after first seeing her on X Factor in 2012. She has a song out right now with Fetty Wap. It’s OK. Kinda 90s. But definitely not strong enough to break out. I mean I get the appeal of being Beyoncé’s artist. But how much attention does Beyoncé have for anyone other than Beyoncé?
