Britney vs. Us Weekly
As you probably heard, Britney is suing Us Weekly over their report about this alleged Federline sex video. In typical greedy white trash fashion, she wants $20 million. And while Us is standing by their story, the real winners in all of this are the Spears/Pitt/Jolie asskissing folks over at People Magazine. Believe me, today was a good day over there.
Now while I can’t say for sure whether or not there really is a Paris inspired tape, I can say that I wouldn’t be surprised if Us actually f&cked this one up. Don’t get me wrong - Janice Min rocks my world but it’s not like they haven’t been wrong before. Remember April Florio? Remember earlier this year when they went ahead and reported on a fling about some flooze who claimed to have had a brief relationship with Brad Pitt in Greece or something to that effect? As it turns out, Brad was apparently never even in Greece at the time and April ended up completely denying the Us story, which thankfully got buried anyway when Brad and Angie declared their African jungle sex to the world a few weeks later.
And while Us was right on the money about Jessica and Nick, they have also – like every other internet gossip – been repeatedly duped by the Federlines, prematurely reporting a split a couple of weeks ago following the Britney birthday blowup and clearly landing on the stupid skank’s hate list.
So what’s the moral of the story, you ask?
Even the professionals get it wrong, gossips. Even the mighty Us Weekly can stumble a little. So be vigilant gossips. And be careful what you read. Kindergarten gossips need not apply.
