Paris Fashion Week: Carven F/W 2014

Obsessed with this collection. The coats. The imaginative collars. The prints. The prints are like quirky paintings you see in French cafes. Or wannabe French cafes. Still, there’s a sense of humour here. And fashion is supposed to be fun. I would wear the sh-t out of almost every piece on this runway. And I hope to. Because over the last couple of years, I feel like Carven has changed its fit. I never used to be able to get into any Carven because nothing ever accommodated curves. But in the last 6 months, I’ve worn Carven almost once a week on The Social and it doesn’t give me any anxiety trying on the clothes. You know what label I have a problem with accommodating the extra flesh on my body? Proenza Schouler.
