Dear Gossips,

Page Six reported exclusively last night that Daniel Craig will likely be back as James Bond. As you know, there’s been all kinds speculation about him not returning as 007 because he was so crusty and exhausted after Spectre.  Read Full Intro

It’s been a while, right? Daniel Craig stepped out today in London for the Into Film Awards to honour emerging talent. Whenever we talk about Daniel, we have to talk about Bond. And there’s been some Bond news, sort of. Full Story

Daniel Craig was on Kimmel last night. They did a bit about James Bond cocktails. It’s not often but I love when he participates in comedy sketches. And it’s effective because he’s usually so severe. Remember when he did that thing with Catherine Tate a few years ago? Still funny. Full Story

PEOPLE Magazine will announce the 2015 Sexiest Man Alive tomorrow. As you know, every year I make a prediction. As I mentioned last week, this year my prediction is Will Smith. Will, despite all his box office success, has never held the title. And the timing seems right, non? Concussion premiered at AFI Fest last week Full Story

Spectre is Daniel Craig’s worst Bond movie

In 2006 Daniel Craig debuted as the dark, gritty James Bond for an updated—read: dark and gritty—take on the Bond franchise in Casino Royale. That is a good movie and it opened up Bond to a new generation of fans. He reprised the role in 2008’s Quantum of Solace, a bad movie with a baffling title that links the events of the previous film to a larger conspiracy in a wholly unnecessary way. Full Story

Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz haven’t been on a carpet together in over a year. Technically they weren’t on a carpet together last night as he did not pose with her during arrivals at the Bond Spectre premiere but close enough, because there was a kiss inside the theatre, and she had her arms around him from behind while he was waiting to be greeted by the royals and they continued to hold hands even as Daniel was talking to the princes. Full Story

The world premiere of Spectre is on Monday in London. The movie will open in North America a couple of weeks later. The junkets and major press commitments are happening now. Here are shots of the cast at a photo call today. And Daniel Craig, James Bond himself, is smiling in so many of them. Maybe relief? The first reviews are pretty good. Full Story

Daniel Craig’s new interview with Time Out London is being excerpted all over the place. He says he’d rather “slash my wrists” than do another Bond movie. And that he doesn’t “give a f-ck” who gets cast to play Bond next. When I first read these quotes, I was like, Jesus Christ, what happened to his happiness? He’s actually not that crusty though. Full Story

Gorgeous, Grim Bond

Sarah Posted by Sarah at July 22, 2015 16:39:50 July 22, 2015 16:39:50

There’s a new trailer for the latest Bond movie, Spectre, and we finally get a clear look at some of the new characters in play, including Dave Bautista as Mr. Hinx, Monica Bellucci and Lea Seydoux as the femme fatales, and Christoph Waltz as Totally Not Blofeld. Officially Waltz’s character is listed as “Franz Oberhauser”, but after the John Harrison/Khan bullsh*t Star Trek Into Darkness pulled and the ongoing March Of Lies surrounding Game of Thrones/Jon Snow, who the f*ck even believes filmmakers anymore? At this point, if Waltz really is playing legendary Bond villain Blofeld, no one will be surprised. Full Story
