Today is World AIDS Day. And the good news is that they do have the resources to stop the spread of the disease. Eradicating AIDS is possible. The problem? Complacency.
A new campaign has been launched to increase awareness and promote effective treatments with the goal of “Getting to zero: zero new HIV infections. Zero discrimination. Zero AIDS related deaths”. Click here to read about how you can get involved and informed. In my generation we were scared sh-tless; we lost so many of our friends. Now though it’s like AIDS isn’t even intimidating anymore. This is a dangerous attitude. Please remember the ones who are gone by making sure there will be no more.
