There are two things I never notice: pregnancy and wedding rings. You know how when you check someone out, there’s an unconscious but not really list that gets ticked off? For me, it’s always shoes, then hair, then skin, then I want to know about the body, how they look in those pants/skirt/dress, then I spend a few seconds judging the pants/skirt/dress, and at that point it’s impolite to keep staring so I look away and fixate on someone else. Full Story

Mostly models of course but also two of his favourites Vanessa Paradis and Diane Kruger with boyfriend Joshua Jackson. I spoke to him the first time he attended with Diane Kruger and he had to wait for her while she posed and he told me about how he pretty much had no choice about what he wore and it was pure confidence the way he said it like, why would I know what to wear to the Costume Institute Gala? The Genie Awards, Canada’s film honours, took place in Toronto last night. Joshua Jackson brought Diane Kruger. And she watched him win Best Actor for his work in One Week. Diane was super cute about it too, they were hugging and kissing all night, very much together, in love and in dress. Matching. Full Story

Both have the Guillaume Canet connection and they were seated at the Weinstein table. Awkward or no? There was a lot of white at the SAGs. I’m biased, I guess, but no one was better than my Marion Cotillard. The side swept hair, so chic, the short length was perfect, the feathers were sublime, and the way she sweetly applauded everyone so enthusiastically beside DDL in the front row, enchanting. Full Story
