Oh! OHHHHH! This outfit gave me a big Oh! As in Oh! So cute! Except I think I could go without the buttons on the outside of the jeans. It’s borderline tacky. And she saves it because she’s Emily Blunt. But once this hits the streets, like regular work-wear, it’s kind of obnoxious. Full Article

Carpets & Candids: Emily’s front pockets

Two great looks from Emily Blunt yesterday. I love the material used on the dress with front pockets. That’s a risk too, the positioning of those pockets and it basically has to be a perfect fit to be worn, which, obviously on her it is. And how about the two piece with the black collar on her way to Colbert? I must have it. Full Article

Smutty Fitness: Summer habits

Hayley Posted by Hayley at August 20, 2015 14:51:04 August 20, 2015 14:51:04

Habits. They can move quickly, in each direction. We are now sitting near the end of summer, and I am not sure how many of you are in the same boat as I am, but all of the days spent patio hopping and lounging lakeside and beachside have caught up to me. I’m actually terrified of when it comes time to put on my fall clothes because I know they are going to be TIGHT! The good news, however, is that we can recreate good habits just as quickly as the bad habits. Full Article

Smutty Fitness: Continued muscle soreness

Hayley Posted by Hayley at March 12, 2015 14:52:32 March 12, 2015 14:52:32
AKM-GSI/ Splash News

Hi Hayley, I workout regularly 3 to 4 times per week. The problem is I am always sore.  Muscle soreness. If it's not my triceps, it's my quads, if not my quads, it is my back, if not my back, then it is my shoulder muscles. You get the picture. I have a difficult enough time getting motivated to workout but then I am so sore for days afterwards. Full Article

Smutty Fitness: Stress and Belly

Hayley Posted by Hayley at February 27, 2015 16:43:58 February 27, 2015 16:43:58

Hi Hayley! I was just wondering if you could recommend any exercises that slim down the waist specifically (i.e. without also slimming the hips/chest)? Basically my dream body is the hourglass figure. I'm in my early 20s and my stomach is (already) very much my problem area. While I know that it's not really genetically possible to reconfigure body shape, nor to spot-reduce fat, I keep holding out the probably illogical hope that there is some exercise or even food that encourages weight loss specifically on the waist/abdomen region. Full Article

Smutty Fitness: Holiday Coffees

Hayley Posted by Hayley at November 21, 2014 15:26:10 November 21, 2014 15:26:10

It is that time of year again, when holiday themed coffees are everywhere. I know I look forward to my local coffee shop becoming decorated for the festive season, but it seems each year this happens earlier and earlier, and with my peppermint latte addiction, I need to be careful. I am never one to tell you not to have anything or to deprive yourself of your favourites treats, but moderation is key and I preach time and time again that you CAN have it all, just NOT all the time. Full Article

Smutty Fitness: Atrophy

Hayley Posted by Hayley at January 28, 2014 14:49:57 January 28, 2014 14:49:57

Hayley With most of us being so sedentary is muscle atrophy on the rise? How is it reversed? How do you rebuild severely wasted muscle through diet and exercise? What about those people who lose a ton of muscle from starving themselves? How do they gain that back? I'm not talking about any definition, just regular muscle. Full Article
