Marion at the Luncheon

Lainey Posted by Lainey at February 5, 2008 08:17:00 February 5, 2008 08:17:00

My girl at the Nominees Luncheon yesterday looking perfect, as usual. Love how her belt is falling and those shoes… the shoes! Above all, it’s the poise. That French grace you can’t teach. If George Clooney had any sense and taste, he’d be all over it. Unfortunately, George Clooney’s taste in women is sh*t. Full Story

He Looks Presidential

But doesn’t he? George Clooney has said he’ll never run for office – it’s a shame, non? Because aesthetically, at the very least, he totally fits the part. George was at UN headquarters in NYC today in his role as Messenger of Peace discussing very urgent matters and looking very handsome. Full Story

Best Dressed: Marion Cotillard

Lainey Posted by Lainey at January 28, 2008 00:00:00 January 28, 2008 00:00:00

She won’t win the Oscar but she will win Best Dressed. Because my Marion’s dress last night was the standard. Love the no frills accessorising. And the close-scalp hair. And the makeup. And she is apparently even more spectacular in person, as every photographer and publicist I spoke to could not stop marvelling at how much more “beautiful she is when she moves”. Full Story

Post Critics’ Choice at Shutters

Lainey Posted by Lainey at January 9, 2008 07:41:47 January 9, 2008 07:41:47

Monday night, after the Critics’ Choice Awards, several high profile celebrities headed to Shutters to celebrate including George Clooney, Javier Bardem WITH Penelope, Sean Penn, Eddie Vedder, dirty Benicio del Toro…and more. Most were well behaved. But Emile Hirsch is a dickhead. More on that later. Full Story

George No Sarah

Lainey Posted by Lainey at January 8, 2008 06:40:17 January 8, 2008 06:40:17

George Clooney arrived solo at Critics’ Choice last night which was surprising considering he’s been trotting that Sarah Larsen out everywhere these days. Given that she was a cocktail waitress and a Vegas hired party girl before he plucked her, I can’t imagine she would have had anything better to do … so maybe he wanted it to be a night out with the boys? He and Don Cheadle were spotted “inside joke”-ing each other all night. Full Story

DeQuivering ManFight: Best of 2007

Lainey Posted by Lainey at December 31, 2007 00:00:00 December 31, 2007 00:00:00

Remember when George Clooney, the ultra cool, ultra classy George Clooney turned into a whiny bitch and tussled with Fabio? Not his best moment but still one of the funniest memories of the year. Seriously ... George…dude… you let Fabio get under your skin? Fabio??? Of course Fabio came out of the situation the big winner. Full Story

Dina Lohan Finger Follies: Best of 2007

Lainey Posted by Lainey at December 7, 2007 11:42:05 December 7, 2007 11:42:05

Remember this? Not for the prudish – consider yourself warned. At the beginning of the year, Page Six reported that Dina Lohan was making out hardcore with some dude in the middle of the restaurant and that he was manually stimulating her underneath a table napkin…do you LOVE it??? Parental Pimp Dina subsequently denied the story but given what she’s done with her children, what’s become of Lindsay, and what’s about to become of Ali Lohan who is 13 going on 40 skank, it’s safe to say, Dina was totally fingered in public. Full Story

Sarah Still Kept

Lainey Posted by Lainey at December 6, 2007 08:10:52 December 6, 2007 08:10:52

From struggling model to cocktail waitress to nine.com girl with questionable activities on the side – click here for a reminder - to George Clooney’s kept woman…Sarah Larsen is living the life, non? Here they are out for dinner last night – Sarah clad in Louboutin boots without a care in the world, obviously playing his game perfectly. Full Story

George and Brad for J. Ro

Lainey Posted by Lainey at December 5, 2007 12:50:52 December 5, 2007 12:50:52

You’ll recall a few weeks ago, there was an American Cinematheque tribute to Julia Roberts that brought out some major stars. The tribute airs tonight on AMC and although George and Brad couldn’t make it, they still sent along a little surprise that is both silly and immature and also politically irreverent and relevant. Full Story

More Funny Fab

The always brilliant Gallery of the Absurd has offered this artistic interpretation of the Clooney/Fabio gunslinging that went down last week. The rollercoaster is of course reference to that incident a few years back when a bird attacked Fab’s face…you remember? Can’t stop laughing… Gallery of the Absurd Full Story
