Adele’s Grammy dress was not black

And people are still hating on it. Why? Because it’s old lady or something? Guess what? It’s been old lady for over a year now, all over the place. Florals! Everywhere! If it had been Anne Hathaway, would the reaction have been the same? No, Lainey, but between black and this, there are so many other options. Full Story
The Taylor Swift Grammy debate

Everyone’s all about how Taylor Swift put on an English accent during her Grammy opening performance of We Are Never Ever Ever Getting Back Together last night. Really? I’ve watched it 5 times in a row, I cannot hear an accent. What’s wrong with me? The English accent of course, if it actually happened, would have been directed at Harry Styles, which, I mean, obviously, she totally would…and I am TRYING SO HARD to get my ears to confirm this but they won’t. Worst Dress Idea Ever

You wouldn’t think it would be possible for Carrie Underwood out-worst herself in a dress, right? Oh but she found a way. When that sh-t started during her performance, I texted Duana: No. They are not etch-a-sketching her dress. No. And she was equally horrified. As were so many of you. Full Story
The Fairytale of Kelly Clarkson

It might actually be impossible to replicate the coolness that is Kelly Clarkson. When she wins awards, she still geeks out like a newbie – but there’s never any doubt that she knows she deserves it. No false modesty. In fact, as Kelly smoothly transitioned from country to soul last night, I thought “Does she consciously realize she’s the best all-around singer in the place? Or does she try to ignore that to stay humble?” You guys, she won a televised singing competition. Full Story

I’m looking at Katy Perry’s dress last night at the Grammys. Human? Is that what you call it? Click here to see how Ellen Degeneres’s reacted to Katy’s humanity. Anyway, what did you notice about last night’s show. Full Story
Grammys Best Tuxedo: Carey Mulligan

Look, Mumford’s never been my jam. They’re good, I know. But I don’t go to them on repeat on a road trip or anything. If they come on because I’ve hit shuffle, fine. I never rush to the car and make up an excuse to drive somewhere just to listen to them. Is that OK? You know what I do love about Mumford & Sons though? I love that Marcus Mumford married Carey Mulligan. Full Story
Slum Love + Granny Freeze in the front row

I don’t care that JLO tried to fight Justin Timberlake’s ego with her leg. I don’t care that she couldn’t resist making the moment about her leg when she was presenting an award. I actually thought “I got the memo” was funny. And besides, oh I’m sorry, I missed the part when we all started expecting JLO to show up somewhere and be humble. Full Story
Mrs Timberlake’s best night ever!
Wenn, Kevin Mazur/ Christopher Polk/ Getty
Better than the time her husband jumped on her head on their wedding day on the cover of PEOPLE Magazine? Maybe. Because that was in Italy. And there was no live television audience. At the Grammys though, she was front row. Seated beside Beysus. And Jay-Z poured champagne for her. And sometimes her husband put his hand on her thigh all Beckham style and she was grateful. Grammy Face or Body: Faith Hill
My friend Amy D, a big country music fan, emailed me last night during the Grammys. OMG what happened to Faith Hill?!? My response: Face or Body. She’s choosing Body. In the choice not to have a big ass, sometimes, unless you’re Halle Berry, you sacrifice your face. This, I imagine, is why fillers became so popular. Full Story
