Henry Cavill is confirmed to present at the Oscars on Sunday. Batman vs Superman opens in exactly a month. So they’ve decided it will be Superman repping the movie and not Batfleck. Which kinda makes sense when you consider that Jennifer Garner is also presenting. Henry has never been to the Oscars – or if he has, he’s never been photographed there. Full Story

We’re six weeks away from Superhero Face Punch finally hitting theaters, after what feels like a five-year build up, which means now is when the marketing kicks into high gear. We’ve been fed a steady diet of this movie, but now we’ve arrived at the buffet, and the final trailer has just been released. Full Story

New character posters for Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman were released today to promote Batman vs Superman, opening in March, right after awards season. Which means we should be seeing the cast as presenters at the award shows. Ben Affleck isn’t really Ben Affleck here because, um, Batman is basically a tank? I feel like this was more for the nerds. Full Story

A new trailer for Superhero Face Punch debuted on Jimmy Kimmel last night—that’s Marvel’s backyard but Kimmel and Ben Affleck are pals—and for the first time, I am totally on board with this movie. It looks RIDICULOUS, like the grimdark, “no jokes”, moody-broody DC hero treatment has come all the way around to straight up camp and I am 100% into that. Full Story

Lainey said this week was supposed to be about the Brange, but then Adele said “Hello” and the takeover belongs to Adele. A similar thing happened for nerds this week, too, as we were set up for a big profile on Superhero Face Punch courtesy Total Film magazine, but then Star Wars happened and no one cares about anything else anymore. Full Story

Keanu Reeves rolled up to The Today Show on his bike this morning. I guess that’s a cool thing to do? I’ve never been a girl who got hard for a guy on a bike. Charlie Hunnam? Sure. But it’s Charlie Hunnam. He could be eating chicken feet, I’d still be hard. Being Canadian, I like a guy on skates. Full Story

Zack Snyder, the director of Man Of Steel and the upcoming Batman vs Superman, talked some sh-t recently about his superheroes and the Marvel superheroes. Basically he’s saying that the Marvel guys, Iron Man, Captain America etc will come and go. But that Batman and Superman are forever: But I feel like Batman and Superman are transcendent of superhero movies in a way, because they’re Batman and Superman. Full Story

Late last week John Schnepp, the director of the documentary The Death of Superman Lives: What Happened?, which examines the breakdown of Tim Burton and Nicolas Cage’s collaboration on a Superman movie in the 1990s, appeared on a podcast for PopCornTalk and dropped the interesting tidbit that Mad Max visionary/director George Miller is in line to make Man of Steel 2 for Warner Brothers/DC. Full Story
