We maintain a few special partnerships, both sponsored and organic with a handful of select brands.
Have a look below and check out our favourites for yourself.
If you've visited the site regularly over the last couple of years, you've probably taken note of my partnership with
vitaminwater. If you've taken a sip of a vitaminwater zero during this time, you might have also noticed that I also write
the labels on the bottles.
My relationship with vitaminwater is special. vitaminwater takes a fresh approach to getting their product in people's hands.
And I'm proud to be part of the team that promotes it.
In 2012 we started a new venture together that is now three years running. vitaminwater is the benefactor of The Faculty of
Celebrity Studies. The faculty tour stops in several cities each year and I've
met many of you along the way.
During Faculty Tour events, we discuss the sociology of gossip and examine how conscious uncoupling, the Motherhood Industrial
Complex, Privacy, and the Celebrity Civil War can illuminate greater issues affecting our culture and our society. The Faculty,
and your participation in it, crusades for the value of gossip. Gossip is GOOD. It's time to stop apologising for it!
I'm excited to be working with vitaminwater on an ongoing basis and hope
you grab a vitaminwater zero next time you need a drink.
I was honoured to be asked to be an AMEX Ambassador at the end of 2013 and have since become an AMEX Platinum CardMember.
The benefits vary from card to card, but what stands out is the level of service they provide across their line-up. It's
like having your own personal assistant with you when you travel. And I do a lot of that so it's nice to know that I'm
covered in more ways than just for lost baggage when I book with my AMEX. So you may find I'll go on about their travel
benefits cause I'm a travel nerd. I love lounges - I get access. I hate security line-ups - I pass them with this
card (at Pearson at least...). They even offer an annual travel credit to be used for whatever you need related to travel.
I'll be talking more about the benefits of my AMEX card on the blog and on Twitter using the #amexambassador hashtag
on the regular so please don't roll your eyes. Embrace and try one yourself.

Covenant House Vancouver
Covenant House Vancouver provides food, shelter, clothing,
counselling, access to medical services, and training and support to at-risk youth living in Vancouver. They come from
everywhere - from all across Canada and the United States, from South America, from Europe, from Africa, from South East - and
we see them all. We help them put their lives back together not by giving a hand OUT but by extending a hand UP. We provide
structure, we have expectations, and we believe our programs and our pillars work not only to get kids off the streets but
to get kids off the streets for good.
I worked at Covenant House Vancouver for 3 years. I remain a consultant with the organisation on special campaigns and I
am a volunteer at the agency too. Come down any time for an information session and/or a tour. We'd love to show you how they
The technical mastermind behind LaineyGossip.com, Erwin Choi built this site from scratch. The genius of it was that he built
it for someone who still, to this day, has little to no knowledge of how anything works. In other words, if I can somehow make
sense of it, anyone can make sense of it. But it's the simplest things that require the most brilliance, non? Erwin is hands-on,
he's flexible, and he's also a bit of a therapist. When Jacek calls him at 4am in a five alarm panic because we've f-cked up the
site... again... Erwin is as chill as he is skilled. If you're looking to launch your own site, Erwin is your guy
HLM Fitness/Hayley McGowan
Hayley kicked my ass 3 times a week in Vancouver before we moved. Because of Hayley I doubled my distance running, doubled my
weights, and hauled my ass up Grouse Mountain for Seek the Peak. A trainer will work you out. A world class trainer like Hayley
McGowan will change your life. And the best part is... she gets it. She gets that I want to fit in to that dress. She gets that
I want to LIVE not starve. She gets that I want to indulge...within reason. She gets that I hate the gooey parts that ooze over
the strapless dress. Because Hayley is stylish too. And while she might be an exercise fitness guru, she's also a girl's girl.
Training from a girl's girl perspective is totally different. Having said that, it doesn't mean Hayley can't roll with the
boys. My husband wept on Tuesdays when he saw her. Wept, groaned, and ached. She kicked his ass too. And now
she writes for our site.
