Grandma was his date
I’m almost there. To the point where I’ve started writing a screenplay in my mind. How James Franco and I meet cute, and exchange snappy dialogue, and I sort of know what I’m wearing except I can’t decide on footwear. It’s been a long time since I’ve found a Summer Crush, only it’s not summer and he’s not a boy, he’s over 30, so Duana has no objections.
James Franco showed up at an event last week in New York with a date. It was his grandmother.
He goes to school and he reads and he studies and he makes stoner movies and soap operas and works with Tina Fey and wins Golden Globes and embraces gay culture and takes his granny for nights out on the town.
I love him.
New York Magazine spoke to Franco and he talked about General Hospital, the difference between the show and what it’s like on a film set, he gave some insight on his role on 30 Rock, and yes, he was tired. Probably looked like sh-t. But I don’t care. When we’re together in my imagination he looks like this. One of my favourite recent-ish photos taken from when he was filming Eat, Pray, Love with Julia Roberts in August.
If I had a locker, this would be up on the door.
