Stay another year

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux stepped out together in New York yesterday and this is supposed to be a big deal because they hadn’t been papped as a couple for a while, leading to speculation that it was over. There were also those who were convinced of it when Aniston didn’t join Theroux while he was mourning Philip Seymour Hoffman but that, to me, was more about not wanting to be the asshole with all the attention at the wrong time. I mean, everyone has a line, right?
So, as you can see, right now, Aniston wants you to know that she’s still engaged. And that totally makes sense. Because you know what’s ahead? What’s ahead is a big year for Brange. Angelina Jolie’s Maleficent will be upon us soon. And if that rules the box office she could be following it up with an award season run. And, well, if I were Jennifer Aniston, I wouldn’t want to be alone during all that either. I wouldn’t want to watch everyone in the world fall at the feet of the Brange and have no one to go home to. In fact, if there’s a right moment to finally deliver to us that baby we’ve been promised, this might be the year to do it. Her baby might be the only thing that could upstage those two.
