The Hoff is all around
Choosing the Daily Hoff was no easy task. You would be amazed at how many celebrities have been touched by the Hoff at one time or another. It was as astounding as it was amusing. However, there could only be one winner. And I based my selection on the following criteria:
1. Cheese factor – obvious, right? But it has to be a certain spirit of cheese. Cheese in a non 80s way. Because I think we can all say we have a cheesy 80s skeleton in our closets, which would undermine the unique cheese quality of what it means to be Hoff. The cheese factor is even more pronounced when it’s unintentional, much in the same way that the Hoff truly believes that his nekked posing with puppies is funky rather than fromage.
2. Surprise factor – you’ll recall the very Hoff-ish Jennifer Aniston photos I posted last week? They were especially memorable because it’s just so NOT Jennifer Aniston to be so Hoff. The bigger the star, the more points you received. For instance, Fabio might be high on the Hoff quotient but low on the surprise quotient because…well…it’s Fabio –know what I mean???
3. Laugh factor – the Hoff is supposed to bring good cheer. And I am confident that you will have at least a good hearty giggle over the winner.
