Hi Sasha.  I am not a *great* friend. I sometimes gossip about my friends behind their back(s). I guess I feel the need to constantly discuss people and their idiosyncrasies and how we just always comes out as sh-t-talking, when in fact I do really love these people. My husband called me out on it a few times, He thinks it's an ugly thing and he's right. Full Article

Dear Sasha, Nine years ago, I had a one night stand with a coworker. We also studied together at University, so we knew each other a while back. Then, we went on a work trip –to a Mexican beach– and ended up at a club. We both were drunk, and I was recently single. I was 31 years old and had been in a relationship for seven years (that didn't end easily), so all I wanted was to party and hook up. Full Article

A lot of poncho porn happening this year. Leona Lewis is wearing one of the best I’ve seen. The pattern is distinct but the colour makes it a great neutral. It would go with anything. And it has sleeveholes. Way more practical.  Full Article

Duana, I am currently pregnant with our second baby and we have chosen to not find out the sex of the baby. For some reason I have no trouble coming up with girl names but A LOT of trouble finding boy names that can stay on our short list. It's a real problem. The two main causes of the problem are that all of the names I truly love have been used by someone be know, and the other problem is that the style of name I like is increasingly popular and we don't want to pick a super popular name. Full Article

Katie Holmes looked amazing last night, probably her best look of the year. This high collar blouse is gorgeous. I LOVE the shape and the construction of this skirt. The makeup and hair are soft, lovely. And while I wish she would have chosen a different pair of heels (black pumps), it doesn’t take away from the overall. Full Article

Duana Names: We Agree….Now What?

Hi Duana, I'm expecting my first after multiple losses - we are so pumped! The husband and I have always agreed on a name for a boy: Gus. We love it! But is it too hipster ironic? Also, are we obligated to give Gus a more formal first name like Augustus? (Which I love but I'm afraid it's too froofy) Second - if we have an Augustus what would we name the sibling? Especially if it's a girl! I feel like there needs to be a good fit! Thanks Duana! Jennifer ____ If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it enough times to make this phrase a cliché: A lot of popular names are popular because they’re so good. Full Article
