Duana Names: Name in the Hand

Duana Posted by Duana at May 20, 2015 18:17:48 May 20, 2015 18:17:48

Hi Duana, I need help! I am about to adopt the sweetest little dog from a rescue and I am having a hard time deciding on his name (a yorkie-schnauzer cross, with a beautiful red and white blended coat). Currently, he is named Jerome…which I find very cute, yes, but might want to change (one of the fun parts about getting a dog is all the great name possibilities)! Yet, I always feel slightly guilty about changing a dog's name when he is adjusting to a new home, so I thought about maybe adapting it; I noticed that the main syllable/sound in his name is Rome, which could be easily adapted to Romy or Romeo. Full Article

Never knew I wanted shoes like this until Rachel Weisz just sold me on them. They’re so flattering. They’re so perfect and elegant. And they made me care about her dress because at first, I didn’t give a sh-t about what she had on. But the shoes drew me in. And now I can appreciate the lovely swirling print on her shift. Full Article

And once again I have small chest envy. Because this kind of a dress…it’s just so easy. It’s boring as f-ck, but for the colour, for Cannes. But you can imagine how it must feel, just hanging off of you like that, so comfortably, when you don’t HAVE to wear a bra.  Full Article

It was boring style start to the festival for Sienna Miller, I guess to establish herself as a proper jury member. On the weekend, finally, she had some fun. This patchworky Valentino is not for everyone, but I love the diamond front and the thin strappy back. Also, I’m kinda into the fact that it looks like it’s jeans. Full Article

Duana Names: Hail Mary Pass, hold Mary

Duana Posted by Duana at May 15, 2015 19:10:41 May 15, 2015 19:10:41

Duana, You are our last hope! We are having a little surprise in two weeks. The girl's name was picked out before we even conceived (Leila Georgie), but if our surprise turns out to be a little boy we are in big trouble. There's nothing we love – names we've mulled over are Charlie, Finlay, Oscar, Ethan, Rory – nothing seems quite right. Full Article

Not many people can pull off that long, straight pant leg that completely covers the shoe. Think of Porny Jessica Simpson, when she does it, how ridiculous it looks. Even Victoria Beckham. Rachel Weisz? No problem. I love it. This is important to note – and that is why it was disappointing when she didn’t bring it at the MET Gala (click here... Full Article

Salma Hayek in red leather, not unlike what was underneath Julianne Moore’s red velvet – click here for a refresher. And last night in a gown stitched in gold that was meant to look like grommets? I feel like it would have been effective if it was just the skirt that was patterned instead of the entire dress. Full Article
