It’s red and it gives you some side breast and there are ruffles arranged to look like they’ve been slashed so I feel like this might be a popular look for many of you. But I hate it. I hate how jarring the black ribbon looks at the back. I hate how sharply the black shoes contrast at the bottom. Full Article

One of the many, many things I love about this column and all of you who contribute is that it is so unabashedly a sociology exercise. Hi Duana - Our family is expecting the addition of a baby boy the beginning of July. He is eagerly awaited by a big brother Rocco and big sister Tessa. We have a single syllable Chinese last name. You can see that we lie somewhere in the middle of quirky and traditional as far as naming goes. Full Article

Duana Names: Naming the Motherlode

Hi Duana, So here’s the dilemma, I'm having quadruplets! I’m having two girls and two boys.So far we have three out of the four names settled but are having trouble cracking the last name for our boy. For the girls we have Remy and Lore, which is German and pronounced like Laura but we know most people will say Lore which we are cool with, and have actually debated on which pronunciation we like more. Full Article
