Duana Names: In Which I Outlaw A Name

Duana Posted by Duana at May 22, 2015 18:11:28 May 22, 2015 18:11:28

Hi, Duana, My husband and I are expecting our second girl around the end of Spring. We (meaning, I) like very traditional, classic names. Our first girl is Margaret. (And she goes by Margaret.) Our last name is one syllable, so a multi-syllable first name is a necessity. We also live in the South, so double names are certainly an option. Full Article

Carpets & Candids: Sienna Miller's slinky amfAR dress

It’s fine. It’s not the best dress I’ve ever seen her wear because this is the kind of dress we’re used to seeing on Victoria Secret models, but whatever. I didn’t need her to be Best Dressed at amfAR. I’d rather her save the spectacular – if there is any spectacular left – for the last weekend of the festival. Full Article

Hi Hayley, Not sure if you have covered this before, but I'm interested in some exercises for bone health that would cater to somebody who hasn't exercised for a while and would need to start at the VERY beginner level. I had a bone density test with some worrying results for my age (mid-30's). Full Article

Duana Names: Name in the Hand

Duana Posted by Duana at May 20, 2015 18:17:48 May 20, 2015 18:17:48

Hi Duana, I need help! I am about to adopt the sweetest little dog from a rescue and I am having a hard time deciding on his name (a yorkie-schnauzer cross, with a beautiful red and white blended coat). Currently, he is named Jerome…which I find very cute, yes, but might want to change (one of the fun parts about getting a dog is all the great name possibilities)! Yet, I always feel slightly guilty about changing a dog's name when he is adjusting to a new home, so I thought about maybe adapting it; I noticed that the main syllable/sound in his name is Rome, which could be easily adapted to Romy or Romeo. Full Article

Never knew I wanted shoes like this until Rachel Weisz just sold me on them. They’re so flattering. They’re so perfect and elegant. And they made me care about her dress because at first, I didn’t give a sh-t about what she had on. But the shoes drew me in. And now I can appreciate the lovely swirling print on her shift. Full Article

And once again I have small chest envy. Because this kind of a dress…it’s just so easy. It’s boring as f-ck, but for the colour, for Cannes. But you can imagine how it must feel, just hanging off of you like that, so comfortably, when you don’t HAVE to wear a bra.  Full Article

Carpets & Candids: Sienna saves it for the weekend

It was boring style start to the festival for Sienna Miller, I guess to establish herself as a proper jury member. On the weekend, finally, she had some fun. This patchworky Valentino is not for everyone, but I love the diamond front and the thin strappy back. Also, I’m kinda into the fact that it looks like it’s jeans. Full Article
