Sasha Finds: Zuzu Liquid Liner

Sasha Posted by Sasha at February 9, 2018 21:12:03 February 9, 2018 21:12:03

Trying to find a healthy liquid eyeliner has been a motherf-cker of a task, but alas I've done it. Okay, fine, so the name Zuzu kind of licks and the packaging is a bit outdated but superficiality aside this product packs a serious punch. Full Article

The Olympics – I just love them. Everything about them: the triumphs, the heartbreaks, the close victories and the near-misses. I love the stories behind the athletes and I love how not only does the Olympics bring countries together but how they bring the world together and how they inspire all generations to strive for greatness. Full Article

Is love too much to ask??   I’m due in a week with #3 and struggling to even create a shortlist of potential boy names. We currently have two girls, Keaton and Blake. Our last name is 3 syllables (starts with a “B”, Italian) and I find myself drawn to one-syllable first names in the desire for flow, but this is not a mandate. Full Article

Carpets & Candids: Emilia Clarke’s safe florals

Wenn, Backgrid

I don’t know the designer of this dress on Emilia Clarke. If I had to guess, I would say D&G. There’s a distinct D&G-ness about the print, the cut, like you could almost see them putting this dress together with Monica Bellucci in mind.  I have a name for this kind of dress now: it’s a daytime talk show dress. Full Article

Carpets & Candids: Sienna’s striped ballgown

It’s not technically a ballgown. But I feel like this is the closest we’ve seen of Sienna Miller in a ballgown?  I like parts of this dress a lot. I like the studding along the stripes. I like the size of the stripes. I like that the stripes look like pleats but also like individual strips of fabric. Full Article

Dear Duana, My partner is convinced that my favorite baby names are too old fashioned. I am pretty set on the name Patricia for a girl (a family name), but I also like Antonia and Estelle. He is mostly onboard with Patricia... because he thinks she could go by the nickname Tricia and "fit in. Full Article

Carpets & Candids: Rachel in high collar blue

I like the high collar grandma Victorian thing. So, obviously, I’m all over this look on Rachel Weisz. Even the blue doesn’t bother me, and blue’s not typically my sh-t. This material isn’t typically my sh-t either. But it’s a great colour on her. And it’s a great fit on her. Full Article

Pretty obsessed with the Chanel dress that Greta Gerwig wore to the Oscar Nominees Luncheon yesterday. Super into the fabric detail at the shoulders and the waist. It’s unmistakably Chanel but also really suited to her, right? The word I would use to describe her style is “whimsy”.  This orange bow is super whimsy. Full Article

Mary J Blige, double Oscar nominee, at the Oscar Nominees Luncheon yesterday…  In a perfect white outfit for the occasion. I mean, it’s perfect. She is perfectly styled for the occasion.  I like that waist situation happening that elevates the look from being a white shirt tucked into a skirt. Full Article

Help! I’m within a couple weeks of my due date with baby 3 and I’m starting to sweat not having a name! My boy is Axel and that was an easy pick for us. We wavered between Levi and Axel and the one no one was using was our winner. My girl is Afton, we named her years before she was ever a thought or plan. Full Article
