First of all, she’s Diane Keaton. So the people who throw up their hands all like, WHAT IS SHE WEARING? don’t know what the f-ck they’re talking about because when has Diane Keaton ever dressed like Sofia Vergara, Jesus. Second, I’m going to the Special Olympics gala tomorrow night and if I could, this is what I would wear. Full Article

Duana: My partner and I are having the hardest time agreeing on names for our little girl, arriving in December. I want a timeless, feminine name and he prefers something a bit less common. Names that I love: V----a names: Victoria, Virginia, Veronica (NOT Vanessa though); Louisa; Edith (we would call her Edie); Frances. Full Article

Strapless yellow floral print dress – it’s fine on its own. Pretty but not all that memorable. With the jacket though, definitely a lot more special. The softness of the pink is such a nice contrast to the boldness everywhere else. And I particularly like how she’s wearing it like a cape around her shoulders instead of like a proper coat. Full Article

I miss summer. Although I’m not allowed to say that because I’ve been in the Caribbean. But I don’t have this outfit! I don’t have leather espadrilles. Which look so good on Michelle Williams I’m putting them on my summer 2017 wish list now. Also a good jean jacket over a summer dress will always make me happy. Full Article

I would be so tempted to pull those white loops that sit like a crop on top of that leather dress. You know, like pieces of carpet. Not that I don’t appreciate what’s going on here because I do, and it’s definitely a look that’s made for her, but it would be tempting, non? To tug on those pieces? And maybe costly to wear too. Full Article

Turquoise blue? Can I call it turquoise blue? Whatever you want to call it, I like that it’s used here as an accent, only on the sleeves and in bits on the sides, instead of as the main event. I would hate this colour as a main event. But the way the sleeves are cut apart from the body like this, in contrast to all that wonderful yellow, is really, really lovely. Full Article

Duana Names: Can’t Change It, Love It

Duana Posted by Duana at November 14, 2016 21:03:32 November 14, 2016 21:03:32

Dear Duana, I am in need of your assistance with naming my first child and am hoping that you can help. I am not sure whether you post the entirety of the emails that you receive so apologise in advance if this is too long. I am having a boy. At first I was happy about this because there are so many awesome leading man names that are esoteric and cool but unfortunately my partner is not on the same wavelength. Full Article

Duana Names: Prescription for Pettiness

Duana Posted by Duana at November 11, 2016 21:18:41 November 11, 2016 21:18:41

Hi Duana, I have what I feel is some petty bitchiness going on, and I need an independent third party to either validate my feelings and offer a solution, or disabuse me of my opinions and give me a reality check. My husband and I are expecting our first child, a girl, in the beginning of December. Full Article
