Duana Names: Gotham Baby Names

Duana Posted by Duana at June 11, 2013 16:58:38 June 11, 2013 16:58:38

OK...so here's the deal - we are due in one week and expecting our first child (a boy!). My husband and I are going back and forth between three first name options. I truly am hoping it 'comes to us' once we see his little face and what he actually looks like. But would also love your opinion on the names as well as my husband's incessant requests for a certain 'superhero' middle name. Full Article

I like Elisabeth Moss’s new blonde hair. I hate this pink dress. Hate the colour, hate the style, hate the material, and I want to punch those f-cking shoes. Are they Jimmy Choo? I don’t even have to look, I bet you they’re Jimmy Choo. Because I hate Jimmy Choo too.  Full Article

Smutty Fitness: Intimidated at the gym

Hayley Posted by Hayley at June 11, 2013 13:03:58 June 11, 2013 13:03:58

I'm a young woman who is relatively new to working out in a gym. I worked previously with a personal trainer, but now I'm on my own. I didn't have this problem when I was with my trainer, but I'm feeling intimidated by all of the guys in the weight room. I don't fear anything specific - I'm just very self-conscious with my 8-pound free weights while the dudes are doing the heavy lifting. Full Article

Sasha Answers: Backwards in a relationship

Sasha Posted by Sasha at June 10, 2013 18:19:42 June 10, 2013 18:19:42

I've been with my bf, John*, on and off (mostly on) for 3.5 years. Here's the problem. He wants to chill out the relationship and I begrudgingly complied. While all my friends are getting married, buying houses and getting ready for kids, my bf wants to cut back to us being monogamous but expecting nothing from each other. Full Article

Sasha Answers: In love with my step-brother

Sasha Posted by Sasha at June 10, 2013 18:12:53 June 10, 2013 18:12:53

Hi Sasha, I’m in a bit of a tricky situation I’d like to have your thoughts on. I have feelings for my step-brother. And before you think that’s so messed up, here’s the back story: we weren’t raised together. Our parents met and got married when we were teens. He didn’t have much of a relationship with his dad, so I only met him a few times. Full Article

Carpets & Candids: Lea’s white lace with pockets

I wish every dress had pockets. Pockets are just so comforting. And posing with your hands in your pockets is so much less cheesy than posing with your hands on your hips. Unless you have arms the size of Carey Mulligan though, sometimes the hand on hip is necessary for reduction of side flap. Lea doesn’t have to worry about side flap. Full Article

Smutty Fitness: Marathon Recovery

Hayley Posted by Hayley at June 7, 2013 14:51:41 June 7, 2013 14:51:41

Hi Hayley, I just ran my first marathon two weeks ago and although it went well and I feel like I trained appropriately for the challenge I still feel like I'm not back to 100% yet. I have only been able to do short 3-5 mile slow runs since then and I'm wondering if you have any post-marathon tips for how to train AFTER the race is done. Full Article

Duana Names: Sullivan’s Siblings

Duana Posted by Duana at June 7, 2013 14:32:35 June 7, 2013 14:32:35

Hello! It’s actually fairly early on in my pregnancy (don’t tell Lainey, I feel like she wouldn’t approve and would worry I’m jinxing it, judging by how we couldn’t talk about Baby Wales for a while), but I’ve been so sick this time around - and now I know why, we found out today we’re having twins (!) - that pondering names is a very welcome distraction. Full Article
