Reformation is the mecca for cool clothes. I b-line that sh-t whenever I'm in NYC. It's consistently on point with trends, without being tacky or tween-y, but what pumps my love the most is that they always make sure to use sustainable methods and materials for each piece of clothing that's produced. Full Article

Hi Duana, We are due this summer, so not for a while, but I feel like this baby naming thing is a big task and the more time we give it, the better. I come from a family of really good names. I have a strong 3-syllable name (Kennedy) that is uncommon and that I really love. My siblings have similar names, and so do their children (i. Full Article

Smutty Fitness: Big goals and small goals

Hayley Posted by Hayley at March 8, 2017 21:58:47 March 8, 2017 21:58:47

There seemed to be a common theme last week amongst the incredible people I am surrounded by.  Some are in the middle of making a career change, some are trying to start a family, some are working hard to lose weight and some are trying to get their finances on track but all are feeling like what they are trying to accomplish was not happening fast enough. Full Article

Hi there! First name nerd advice-seeker here. I wrote to you four years ago to get your take on our first child's name, a boy we called Theodore Roland Giguere Hodes. I need general name advice, but also want your take on something. I fancy myself a feminist, and I have been into the idea that if we ever had a girl, I would like her to have my last name (so Hodes as the second middle name and Giguere as the last name). Full Article

Duana Names: Lest We Name Him Tarzan Shaggy

Duana Posted by Duana at March 1, 2017 22:10:22 March 1, 2017 22:10:22

Hi Duana, As crazy as this sounds, I am expecting our fourth child in April. We already have 3 little boys and I love love love all their names. We have Emmett (from way before 'Emmett' was a thing), Andrew and Patrick. As you can see, we are not flashy or into 'new names'. We have English/Irish and Scottish heritage (our last name reflects this as well) and a bit of French thrown in for fun. Full Article

Whether you were watching the Oscars with your besties at an Oscar party, or sitting at home alone (moi) and watching it while trying to prep for the week, we can all agree that A LOT went into making those celebrities as beautiful as they were and it was not just stunning gowns, tuxedos, jewellery and shoes. Full Article

They play it SOOOO safe at the Oscars. And I understand. The Academy has been the standard of kind of traditional elegance. But… now that they can’t get it right with a Best Picture award, maybe we’ll see some more imagination on the red carpet at the Oscars going forward. For now though, as we saw from Thandie Newton’s example, many of the more edgy (and amazing) looks from Oscar night showed up at Vanity Fair. Full Article

Many of the dresses that were at the Vanity Fair Oscar party were better than the dresses at the Oscars. If Thandie Newton wore this to the Oscars? She’d  have been one of the contenders for best dressed. When Duana and I saw these photos we started making sounds, primitive sounds of desire from deep within our bodies. Full Article
