Hayley Posted by Hayley at November 27, 2012 14:28:42 November 27, 2012 14:28:42

Three months ago I presented the challenge of running the Seattle full marathon to one of my clients and the Seattle half marathon to two others and on Sunday all three of these amazing women completed their journey.  Here are their stories. Anya Georgijevic – 30 something fashionista/blogger/fashion journalist I started training Anya about three years ago and when I first met her she believed it went against all fashion rules to walk her dog around the seawall in running shoes and she would not be caught dead in workout gear outside of the gym. Full Article

Sasha Answers: Breastfeeding in public

Sasha Posted by Sasha at November 26, 2012 19:38:45 November 26, 2012 19:38:45

I have a question as to whether it's socially acceptable to breastfeed in public? My family and I recently went to a local restaurant (which let me set the stage - it was a local BBQ joint, not a fancy, high end establishment). My infant daughter was getting fussy during our dinner and needed to eat. Full Article

Duana Names: Can’t Call Her Louella

Duana Posted by Duana at November 26, 2012 14:38:51 November 26, 2012 14:38:51

I'm having a baby and we're talking about names.  We used to have a 1st choice girl's name, Louella.  I really like the idea of calling my daughter Lulu or Lou when she's little, but also not sticking her with a childish name for life.  Recently, my husband's brother had a daughter and named her Ella, so Louella is now out of the picture. Full Article

Penelope Cruz is the new spokesperson for Nespresso in North America, just like George Clooney is in Europe. Here she is shooting the first commercial. In some shots her hair is parted in the middle. In some it’s a deep side, swept off the shoulder. I can never work a deep side part like that without always tilting my head in one direction. Full Article

The way I see it, you can’t go wrong with braids. LOVE braids. Almost all braids. I was on a braid binge during TIFF this year – a different braid style every day. If only real life could be like that... Diane Kruger’s wearing her braids with Lanvin and a big leather belt, like a warrior queen with a tiger talisman, a high fashion modern interpretation of Joan of Arc. Full Article
