Smutty Fitness: Explosive training

Hayley Posted by Hayley at October 7, 2016 19:29:38 October 7, 2016 19:29:38

The beauty of explosive training is that you don’t need a gym to do it and I feel like most training scenes from boxing movies usually take place outside, in the cold. Am I right? All you need to do is find a park that has some stairs you can run up and down, a bench you can step and jump onto and a field where you can run sprints. Full Article

Duana Names: I Like It, But Don’t Love It

Duana Posted by Duana at October 5, 2016 19:28:45 October 5, 2016 19:28:45

Hi Duana, I am due in December with my first, a girl. We were pretty set with boys names, our father's names in the middle, with Remi as the first name. (I am French Canadian, so I favour French names. Hubby is Polish Canadian and has no real preferences towards names.) Now that we know it's a girl, hubby won't really budge on my favourite name, which is Louise (Loulou as a nickname). Full Article

Hi Duana, I am expecting my second child in early October, gender to be discovered at birth. I think it is a boy (because the needle and thread said so) but am preparing for either. My first son's name is Tighe (pronounced like Tadgh - Tiger without the r) and we love it, he loves it, it is a rad name. Full Article

This white oversize sweater/dress… is probably unaffordable for regulars. But God, GODDDDDDDDDD I would be straddling it if I could buy it. If this is the new direction Dior is taking, I’m in. PS. Thoughts on the one earring?  Full Article

Carpets & Candids: Katie’s white sweater

A good white sweater is hard to find. I’ve been looking for one for months because my old one has expired. When a good white sweater comes into your life though, it can totally make an outfit. This white sweater on Katie Holmes looks great over the leather skirt. But it’s ruined as soon as you can see her feet. Full Article

Carpets & Candids: Jennifer Connelly’s red tank dress

To me, this red dress only works because there’s a white tank underneath. And, by red dress standards, I actually really love it. I love that it’s a red dress that’s actively trying NOT to be a red dress – there’s nothing here that insists on being “glam!” or “sexy”. Full Article

Duana Names: “Biracial Baby Blunt-Krasinski”

Duana Posted by Duana at September 30, 2016 19:01:30 September 30, 2016 19:01:30

Hi Duana, I hope you're well! Sorry for the strange title, but I hope this email explains it all. My husband is white and I'm black and we're trying for our first baby. There's nothing immediate, but we've been talking a lot about names. We have a boy's name picked out but are struggling with a girl's name. Full Article

I can’t figure out what they are. Are they little bugs? You know what I love about this dress? It’s the way the cut-outs affect the structure of the sleeves and the way they look from the sides. This dress is so much more interesting from the side. You see that? It’s like a giant long glove. Full Article

This blazer! Samantha Bee! I need this blazer in my life in a very bad way. Also, I love these patent leather oxfords. The toe is great, the heel is great, and they are about as versatile a shoe as you’ll find. With a skirt, with a dress, with shorts, with jeans, almost any jeans, you can wear them with almost anything. Full Article

Sasha Posted by Sasha at September 29, 2016 19:23:37 September 29, 2016 19:23:37

Thanks for joining us again this week and apologies for the tardiness of this podcast but alas, we are back! Today is another jam packed session: to marry or not to marry, can you ever reform a douche and how to rebuild a connection with your parents. Plus, I yell at Lainey about her narcissistic tendencies on Instagram, she talks about her f-cking stye AGAIN, and Jacek tries to budge into the conversation. Full Article
