Hello Duana! I’m writing to you from Portugal – which means this is not a question about Anglo-Saxon names or about people living in an English-speaking country – so I completely understand if this doesn’t interest you or if you don’t think you’ll be able to help. Full Article

I was in the best shape of my life recently, and doing a mix of workouts: hiking, at the gym with a trainer, running, yoga, etc. Unfortunately I tore my ACL about a month ago, and the MRI says I also fractured a couple of bones I have an appointment with a specialist in a month, and will then have to wait to get surgery sometime thereafter. Full Article

Hey Duana, My work bestie is having a baby due in December, and while there is plenty of time, she (and myself) have been racking our brains at work everyday throwing out names and evaluating. She doesn't know what she is having yet. She also has a daughter named Julia, and wants a name that will match/compliment. Full Article

Carpets & Candids: Zendaya’s big sleeves

Lainey Posted by Lainey at November 8, 2016 16:37:46 November 8, 2016 16:37:46

This dress comes off the shoulder and into low wide flowing sleeves. Which kinda mutes the impact of the cut-outs. So I’m into it. But I’m not into the white print. There’s just so much of it. And the print itself, it’s so close together, you know? There are no gaps in the flowers. Full Article

Naomie Harris wore the most amazing silver suit earlier this week and here’s Solange in a much more esoteric one. Carpets & Candids: Naomie's silver suit

Lainey Posted by Lainey at November 7, 2016 19:32:15 November 7, 2016 19:32:15

Jesus. Now this is a f-cking suit. A full silver suit that is helped by the pattern on the material so that it has some texture to it without looking like a flat sheet of metal, which I wouldn't have minded anyway but the way it's done here, it steps away from being too punk and hits just enough on the side of elegance so that it appeals to both the traditional style watchers and those who prefer an edgier vibe. Full Article

Smutty Fitness: CrossFit etc

Hi Hayley! I've been doing CrossFit for about three years and I love it, 3-4 times a week. The reason why I enjoy CrossFit is because the workouts are different every time. I used to run and every time I would run I would experience foot pain or knee pain, which I don't get with CrossFit.  My question is, how do I incorporate some sort of cardio in my life? I notice that CrossFit is starting to make my body look a certain way and make my clothes fit differently (broader shoulders, larger quads). Full Article

Duana Names: To Pin Down The Twang

Duana Posted by Duana at November 2, 2016 20:49:34 November 2, 2016 20:49:34

Hi Duana, My husband and I are expecting our first baby in early November and are hitting a bit of a wall on names. We were in agreement about baby girl names for the most part (Dorothy/Dotty as a front runner) and only found out the gender because we were pretty divided on boy names. As fate would have it, we're having a boy! On paper it should be simple, we both seem to like southern names. Full Article
