Hi Duana! I’m currently expecting baby #2 (due late April) and we are not finding out the sex. My husband and I truly love our daughter’s name – Ruby Kyoko. I know Ruby isn’t your favourite – too ‘pinteresty’ I think you said (haha!) but I just love it. Full Article
Sasha Finds: Vegan Shoes
It’s hard to find vegan shoes that don’t look butt-ass ugly. Seriously, the struggle is real, but finallyyyyyyy there’s a line that’s making some major sustainable style moves – I give you, Susi. All materials sourced for the line are of course not only animal friendly, but planet friendly, with each piece produced by recycled plastic bottles. Full Article
Carpets & Candids: Eva in turquoise

Not a dress that’s my personal style. But the colour really does pop on her. And what pulls the whole look together is that striped belt, right? I’m so happy the belt has been included here – and I hate belts. But I feel like other designers would have been tempted to make it all the same colour. Full Article
Duana Names: BIT OF A LONG ONE
WENN
Hi Duana, I got married last month and hubby and I already have the appointment set for our IVF cycle next month – I am not getting any younger, you know... I am the anxious/planner one in the family, and then he makes the comment “I can’t wait for you to be all concerned about baby names and their meanings” – what he did not know is that I already had a list on my phone with some of my faves (I have been thinking about my kids names since I was like, 5 Duhhhh). Carpets & Candids: Sarah’s Chinese collar

What would you call this colour? Peach? I wouldn’t say I’m big on peach, especially as a lipstick. In fact, I hate it as a lipstick. But I love it here on a dress worn by Sarah Paulson. It’s the sharpness of the black trim around the collar, I think. The peach needs the black. Full Article

I never imagined I’d be obsessed with a red suede suit. But I never imagined this suit. I’m not even sure it’s a suit. Because you could certainly wear the dress on its own and it’s long enough in any environment, even to meet the queen. Putting the dress over the pants, however, is the genius here. Full Article

Duana Names: Rules! Made to be Broken?
Hi Duana, I am expecting my second child in March and we are waiting to find out the sex. We are happy with a slew of girl names *(Margaret, Josephine, Penelope) but we are stuck on a boy’s name. WE want a name that “fits” with our first son’s name (Alfred, called Fred). Full Article
Smutty Fitness: Pelvic healing time

Hi Hayley! I just had my second baby two months ago and it was a bit of a rough delivery. My little one came out at lightning speed-less than two hours flat from start to finish, kind of like the extreme sports version of labor- and though I did Kegel exercises throughout my pregnancy, my baby's quick entrance into the world did some major damage to my pelvic floor. Carpets & Candids: Zoe’s Kids’ Choice floral
Kevin Mazur/ KCA2017/ Jeff Kravitz/ Chris Polk/ KCA2017/ Kevin Winter
I like this dress more the more I look at it. Mostly I love the cap sleeve… that looks like it’s a bunch of leaves on each side? Pretty right? That said… not sure if it’s “Kids’ Choice”? Full Article
Carpets & Candids: Catherine’s CSA gingham

My favourite dress at the Canadian Screen Awards last night. Do you hate it? Specifically do you hate the red gingham collar and cuffs? Because I LOVE THEM. And the reason it’s not infantile or childish is because of the cut of the dress and how it shapes her body. Catherine O’Hara’s clothes on Schitt’s Creek are underrated. Full Article
