Dear Duana, I am in need of your assistance with naming my first child and am hoping that you can help. I am not sure whether you post the entirety of the emails that you receive so apologise in advance if this is too long. I am having a boy. At first I was happy about this because there are so many awesome leading man names that are esoteric and cool but unfortunately my partner is not on the same wavelength. Full Article

Carpets & Candids: Michelle's exquisite shimmering dress

A dream! It's a dream of a dress. Can I describe it as Art Deco? It has that feel to me. And it's amazing in all the little details. Like the cap sleeve underneath the sheer overlay. God that's brilliant. And the way the shimmer is arranged so that it looks like it's a zebra print pattern? I love this so much. Full Article

Duana Names: Prescription for Pettiness

Hi Duana, I have what I feel is some petty bitchiness going on, and I need an independent third party to either validate my feelings and offer a solution, or disabuse me of my opinions and give me a reality check. My husband and I are expecting our first child, a girl, in the beginning of December. Full Article

Her features are so delicate, her face, her eyes, like a doll. Who looks beautiful in pink. Trying to decide how I feel about the panel right over her chest though. It's supposed to be jarring, I get it. Especially against the soft, delicate material and pattern. And the alternative if they were going to cut out a section would probably be sheer or lace, both options I hate. Full Article

This Hot Bitch! My God, this hot black suit.  And how This Hot Bitch is wearing the sh-t out of this hot black suit. Great detail at the shoulder and the hip. Perfect length on the pants. And her hair, in this wavy bob, is such a good length on her too.  Full Article

What a pretty dress. I like how it starts as a shirt dress and then turns into something else at the waist. And the tucked under sleeves are lovely. Mostly, though, this colour is spectacular on her. Gorgeous against her skin.  Full Article

I think they’re grommets? They run along the sleeve but I like that they also frame the waist. The standout for me here though is her lips. I can’t stop looking at them. I love whatever this makeup trick is. Like a stain, sort of. But also, like she had a much thicker layer of lip colour on earlier and it was either kissed off or bitten off, so that the effect is that this is almost her natural lip colour, like her lips would just look like this when she wakes up in the morning. Full Article

I was in the best shape of my life recently, and doing a mix of workouts: hiking, at the gym with a trainer, running, yoga, etc. Unfortunately I tore my ACL about a month ago, and the MRI says I also fractured a couple of bones I have an appointment with a specialist in a month, and will then have to wait to get surgery sometime thereafter. Full Article
