Hi Hayley, I broke my toe on the long weekend and it looks like the healing process could take up to 6 weeks. I'm wondering if you have any recommendations for ways to still work out when I am supposed to be staying off my feet as much as possible. My usual weekly workout routine is a combo of doing classes at the gym (boot camp, cardio/weights, circuit training), and shorter runs (5-6km), with occasional yoga. Full Article

Hi Duana, Unlike most people who ask for your help, we have already named our baby girl. She is almost one year old. But Houston, we still have a problem. Our last name is a three syllable Italian name so I wanted a first and middle name that felt light/fresh and not too traditional/fussy. Full Article

Hi Duana, I would love your help please! My husband and I are having our second boy, due in July. We have a name all picked out, but I'm worried that it's becoming trendy or will be seen as a trendy choice. This is compounded by the fact that I think most boy names are horrid- I overheard a dad calling to his son in the park- and the poor little guy's name was MAGNUM. Full Article

Hey Hayley, A couple years ago I really got into fitness in a serious way. I had a trainer come a couple days a week to my condo and am now working out five times a week (combination of HIIT, plyometrics, weight training and functional training in addition to some classes like spinning or yoga). Full Article

Hello! I am due mid-July and the gender is a surprise. I've been scouring your columns for inspiration and reassurance - and I have found some, but we are on somewhat shaky ground when it comes to a boy's name. I also want to have a solid pool of choices when the time comes in case we are emotional and exhausted and none of our first choices fit and we choose something horrible while under the influence of parental judgement. Full Article

Hi Duana, I'm due with my first at the end of June. We just found out we're having a boy, and of course we only had a (perfect!) girl's name picked out. For background, my husband is Belgian and I am American. I am biracial (Latina and white) and thus we want our child's name to be pronounceable and sound nice (not always the same thing) in French, English, and Spanish. Full Article

Sasha Finds: Toothpaste

Ok, I know toothpaste isn't super sexy click bait, but if you can stick with me for a few more sentences I promise, this might change your life or at least your mouth. Have you ever read the f-cking ingredients in toothpaste? More importantly have you read the f-cking warnings?! Cory (my husband) was using a certain brand of toothpaste and it literally said "if more than used for brushing is accidentally swallowed get medical help or contact a POISON CONTROL CENTER RIGHT AWAY". Full Article

Hi Duana, I would appreciate your thoughts on a new name ‘challenge’ that I haven’t seen addressed here before. Baby boy is arriving at the end of the Summer. It is tradition on my hubby’s side to name the son after his father. This is a tradition that I want to respect, however… I don’t LOVE the idea of ‘yet another’ similar name in the family. Full Article
