No match for a Queen
At the GQ Men of the Year Awards last night in London, Lily Allen was overdressed and overdrunk, arriving in an inexplicably over the top massive gown and getting progressively more licked as the evening wore on, so drunk she dared to disrespect Elton John on stage.
They appeared together, with Lily attached to a bottle of champagne. When she announced to the audience that they’d arrived at “the most important part of the night”, Elton quipped:
“What? Are you going to have another drink?”
At which she retorted: “F*ck off Elton. I am 40 years younger than you and have my whole life ahead of me!”
It’s not the cussing that’s insulting… it’s the aging. She called that grumpy Queen old and worse still, in a roomful of desirable men so, naturally, he outed her for using cocaine:
“I could still snort you under the table”.
And that’s about as exciting as it gets for Lily Allen. She went home to sleep it off, always in Amy’s shadow, personally and professionally. Not as hardcore as the Wino, even as a f&ck up.
