Not sure where you are but here, in Canada, the Olympics were a big deal in 2010, an even bigger deal in Vancouver, where I live. Every Games produces darlings. There were several Canadian darlings. Among them Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir who took gold in Ice Dance. And they did it with a f-cking statement. Full Story

Further to yesterday’s report that Blake Lively left Paris and Karl Lagerfeld, electing not to attend the Chanel Metier D’Art show in her new position as their bag model, to attend instead the Blue Valentine premiere and afterparty with Ryan Gosling in New York, seated beside him during dinner, comes this account from Women’s Wear Daily Full Story

Written by Duana Here we are, almost a half-season of Glee under our belts. I’ve spit some flames, I know I made lots of you mad but also thank you for all the love for last week’s post about Rachel. Here’s my bargain for this week. Full Story

Brendan Fraser provided two great moments worth coming back to this year. Have you forgotten him at the Globes? Dude, they made music videos out of what he did at the Globes. Here. Let me remind you. Maybe it’s just me. But if I’m, like, making a salad or something, and this visual suddenly pops into my mind, I’m straight up laughing. Full Story

I wonder if they get sick of seeing their own movie. Even if they love that movie. Even if it’s the passion project of a lifetime, I wonder if there isn’t a little fatigue about it, especially when we’re coming up on a year of promoting it. Like, everywhere. Blue Valentine premiered exactly 11 months ago at Sundance. Full Story

Sorry to Kanye West your eyeballs but, well, Jakey G and Ryan G stood next to each other last night in Beverly Hills at a screening for Blue Valentine and it seems like all caps are appropriate, non? Michelle Williams was there too. And she looked lovely and delightful but well... Jakey and Ryan .. Full Story

Written by Duana ...Rachel ANYONE. This week Glee makes the cardinal sin of starting on the adults, and not even Sue, whom I find generally distracting from the show, but at least mildly entertaining on occasion. But it’s okay, because they quickly inform us that this is going to be the ‘deal with the gripes of the audience’ episode. Full Story

I was supposed to go in studio yesterday to shoot etalk. But it was Snow Day. I wrote to them in Toronto at 5am begging off because, frankly, I’m afraid to drive in the snow. Then again, it’s not hard to be better than The Love Guru. Woah wait. Wasn’t Jessica Alba in The Love Guru. Was she forced at gunpoint? Because, you know, she’s all discerning and sh-t right? Anyway, there’s another Canadian who is making a movie about hockey. And, well, it sounds awesome. Full Story
