The cast of Glee was photographed yesterday on the set prepping for what looks like a New York City themed musical number. Gold chained b-boys! Rumour has it that Empire State of Mind could be heard during filming. Lea Michele was in great spirits. The episode is probably all about her then. Glee returns for its second season with high expectations as buzz has not abated over the summer and new details continue to emerge about what to expect. Full Story

Oh relax. It’s just a car ride. But relations between Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson must be very shaky indeed if she didn’t show for the LA premiere of Takers last night. You know Rachel never misses a carpet opportunity. And then leaving the afterparty, model Sophie Monk and Hayden were seen in the same vehicle. Full Story

Drake performed at the Molson Amphitheatre last night in hometown Toronto. "I love this city with my entire life.” It was the last stop on his Away From Home tour and he was joined onstage by Rick Ross, Fabolous, Young Jeezy, Kardinal Offishall and... Well can you imagine the reaction for Drizzy + Shady? HOT. Full Story

Seems like a good way to start the day after shouts - a blonde wavy Rachel McAdams shot with Owen Wilson in Paris last night on Woody Allen’s new feature Midnight in Paris. Pacey-Con the video

You saw the photos yesterday, now Funny or Die has uploaded the video. It’s not the best Funny or Die piece ever, it’s a little contrived and obvious, but his shirt makes up for it, and of course the song, and the shot of him looking out his hotel room window kills me. Makes me want to go back and watch Dawson’s Creek from the beginning. Full Story

One note Blake

It was supposed to be the Comic-Con panel for The Green Lantern. Instead Blake Lively tried to make it about her breasts. Hard-ons aside, I mean, really, is it necessary? There were people who I interviewed in line waiting for hours, I mean hours, in the heat, they’d come from far and wide, and if they wanted to see cleave, they could have stayed at home with their laptops and jerked off. Full Story

There’s Robert Pattinson’s unintentional comedy, and then there’s Pacey-Con San Diego 2010. The.Best. He’s the best. Joshua Jackson was at Comic-Con for Fringe. On his down time he decided to go back to Capeside, wardrobe and all, for some fan fiction reading, and of course a little Paula Cole blaring from a boom box. Full Story

Joshua Jackson is back in Vancouver resuming production on a new season of Fringe. Look at him on set yesterday. Look how cute. He doesn’t fuss, he doesn’t pull attitude, he doesn’t demand to have his ass kissed. Instead he is always jovial, always smiling, always in great spirits with the crew, with his peers. Full Story

These vampire conventions are everywhere. Just one season old, Vampire Diaries is popular enough to have a travelling convention. And the stars of the show were at the convention in Australia yesterday to solicit the all important international audience. This is where a lot of the money comes from – overseas syndication. Full Story

Everyone is jizzing over Inception

Media screenings are happening this week. Everyone coming out of Inception is jerking off over Christopher Nolan’s latest brilliance. Like, everyone. And just in time too. Inception opens July 16 following a smartly paced, cleverly strategised marketing campaign that teased just enough and not too much and as such, should deliver both critically and commercially which is not to say that it’ll do Toy Story numbers, but well enough to be considered a hit and, having made its money, on to perhaps an awards season run. Full Story
