I’ve been fortunate enough during my time with eTalk to have the opportunity to interview and observe celebrities, to exchange war stories with journalists, to have a glimpse at what it’s like behind the People Magazine bullsh-t…and as you’ve probably gleaned from this column, assy celebrity behaviour is not the exception but almost the rule, and more often than not, it’s not shocking when they’re dicky, but it is when they’re nice. Full Story

Thank you for all your emails, Canada. And forgive me. Forgive me for not immediately picking out out a very popular Canadian. I was blinded by the Porn and the Brange. And remember what I said last week – the domestics are not for me. I don’t watch the home painting shows. I don’t watch the make your own closet shows. Full Story

As you know, Lauren Conrad has her own rather successful clothing line. One of the dresses in her Holiday 2008 Collection is called The Jessi…named after Jessi Cruickshank, the gorgeous and impossibly adorable host the MTV’s The Aftershow which is shot and produced in Canada. Word. What’s Jessi like? So smart … SO smart. Full Story

As you know Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson were married on Saturday here in Canada and they pulled it off with no press, no paps, and total privacy…mainly because it was well planned, and because they’re not famewhores, and as such they chose a location that allowed a natural protection. Full Story

Posing with food means you’re actually eating the food…right? This is Shenae Grimes on the set of 90210 yesterday after a visit to craft services yesterday. Conveniently the paps happened to be there too… As you know, the stars of the show have been at the centre of a raging thin controversy the last couple of weeks, with both Shenae and Jessica Stroup landing on the cover of Us Weekly being accused of encouraging bad body examples. Full Story

Best Emmy Canadian: Sandra Oh

She brought her parents. And she was tiny. Ultra tiny. But at least she wasn’t her usual ultra bitch. Not that that’s a bad thing. That Sandra Oh has a bite. That she is not an easy woman. For his mistake. Losing his passport and disappointing his fans at TIFF. Joshua Jackson had an accident on the set of Fringe which is pulling in very healthy numbers. Yay! Apparently there was a copper wire, it went up his nose, resulting in a vein bleed, landing him in hospital. He's fine. But he said, "I can now say that I have literally put my blood into this show. Full Story

Josh & Diane in love in NYC

A few of you are still mad at Joshua Jackson for missing TIFF because he lost his passport positing that it was a sucky thing for him to do, to be so irresponsible, to let down his director, his costars, in failing to hype the film and disappointing fans in the process. Absolutely it was a bonehead mistake. Full Story
