Carpets & Candids: Nina’s Super Bowl wardrobe
Jamie McCarthy/ Neilson Barnard/ Getty
With Nina, it seems like there always has to be some lace or some sparkle. Just once I’d love to see her wearing something totally unembellished. Full Article
Carpets & Candids: Evangeline’s short hair
Hagen Hopkins/Getty
I don’t love it, but that may have more to do with the way it’s been styled. Mostly the colour of it, and near the front too. Maybe it’s for a role? Without those streaks, she does have the texture for the length and I like the way her hair waves around the nape of her neck and curls around the ears. Full Article
Carpets & Candids: Carrie Anne’s old school hair
Wenn, Fame
There’s something old timey and elegant about the way Trinity has styled her hair here... and sort of Madonna Express Yourself/Blonde Ambition, right? Full Article
Carpets & Candids: Rachel in stripes and wedges
I wonder what other colours this striped dress came in. The one she’s wearing here isn’t super exciting to me. It mutes an otherwise very flattering design. I’m not saying she has to go neon pink or anything but there’s nothing quite so dull as maroon and navy, is there? Full Article
Smutty Fitness: Paula Findlay didn’t give up

I love the Olympics. Whether it is the Winter or Summer Games I find myself glued to the television from start to finish. I love the stories that unfold during the Games, the stories of athletes overcoming obstacles, athletes who make history, athletes who miss their glory by seconds and inches, the heartaches and the celebrations and as spectators we never know what is going to happen in the two weeks while we are cheering on all of our athletes who are representing our country. Carpets & Candids: Kristin Kreuk’s leather vest
When I was growing up, the must-have wardrobe item was a leather vest from Roots. Remember? Not at all like the one Kristin Kreuk is wearing here but it was a different aesthetic then. We used to wear it over a hoodie and sweat pants. I can’t decide whether or not I like the tiers that are happening here. Full Article
Carpets & Candids: Nina’s braids
Am totally biased about this hair. Because this is how I wore mine to Duana’s wedding two weeks ago. Except instead of one braid on each side I went with two very thin ones, for a total of four, that met at the back of my head under beachy waves. Flower child! It was my favourite style of ALL TIME in my entire life forever and ever. Full Article
Carpets & Candids: Nina’s great Comic-Con
Wenn, Fame/Flynet, Chelsea Lauren/Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty
All Nina Dobrev style articles on this site are always prefaced with “I love Nina Dobrev”. Because I often don’t love what Nina Dobrev is wearing. At Comic-Con this year though, Nina was all good. Every look worked. The thing about Nina is that she seems to like her sparkles. There’s a little figure skater in there who can’t be suppressed. Full Article
Carpets & Candids: Cobie's white cut-outs
I could see this on Lea Michele. Not feeling it on Cobie Smulders. Are the proportions all wrong? Between where the breasts sit and where the cut-outs are, it doesn't look right. I wonder if this is a short girl's dress. Also, gross red shoes. Full Article
Smutty Fitness: Hemp Hearts
Fame/Flynet
I start every single morning with one serving of hemp hearts in or on whatever I am eating for breakfast. These tiny little seeds are the easiest way to increase your daily intake of Omega-6 and Omega-3. You can only get these Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) through food such as eggs, fish, fish oils and some nuts and seeds and your body can not function without them. Full Article
London Fashion Week: Erdem Fall 2012
Samir Hussein/Getty
Now arguably the biggest Canadian who shows in London ...And supported by the Princess Kate. And all up in the florals before the florals became the thing. Or maybe starting the floral thing... There has been a lot of floral, as you know, but to me, BY FAR, these are the most beautiful prints we’ve seen coming down the runway including those from Paris and New York. Full Article
NY Fashion Week: Calla Fall 2012
Craig Barritt/Getty
Another Canadian showing in New York ...I know the floral invasion is not for everyone. But the pattern on some of these pieces is gorgeous. And contemporary. This is all Duana. I wish it could be all me. Full Article

Carpets & Candids: Pam’s tights
I don’t know what’s wrong with me either. How is it possible that I actually like something that Scabby’s wearing? But, see, I don’t mind the tights. At all. I might even be into them a little. Am I crazy? Full Article
