It wasn’t a secret. Matthew McConaughey wanted it. Bad. He’s been working for it for almost two years. Sarah called it first – way, way back. 12 months too early, in fact. That Matthew McConaughey would win Oscar. And… well…he’s getting closer. But let us him enjoy last night first.
That fist pump was endearing to me. I like that he couldn’t hold it back. That he didn’t saunter up there like the journey was more important that the destination, or some sh-t, although he did throw in a JKL at the end but the point is – he let it be known that it FELT GOOD to win, that he enjoyed winning, and that he wants to do it more and more and more…
And then I half expected him to start grinding up on the stage, against his trophy, or the mic stand. That man was giving himself an erection. His victory was making him hard. It was half his character from Magic Mike, with shades of Wooderson in between. I’m telling you – they made a 4th child last night, alright, alright, alright. The way he looked in that green tux, I would have let him too.
