Although I will never look like a graceful dancer, the movements of Pilates have been so great for all of my sports and it keeps my body pretty pain free. At the end of 2012 I was in a major road accident, run over by a truck while cycling. I had a severe pelvic fracture which left me in a wheel chair for three months. Full Article

Can you see how gaunt he is in pictures? Is it coming through? I was 5 ft away from Matthew McConaughey and, while I know he's slowly putting the weight back on from that movie he did, I'm not sure the effects from all that are reversible. His face is sunken in. And his skin sags. And his eyes droop. Full Article

This may seem like something that someone who is training for a running event may not need to worry about but all too often beginner runners will gain weight while training for their first half marathon or other running distance.  You might be thinking that someone who is running 3 or 4 days a week plus cross training would find it hard to keep weight on but this is a common problem. Full Article
