His bike. Did she know that Justin Timberlake would be at the MTV Movie Awards presenting with Mila Kunis and spending the weekend promoting Bad Teacher with his ex-girlfriend Cameron Diaz? Oh, I’m sure she had some idea. So... What did Shelfy get up to? Jessica Biel was photographed out for a ride on the back of Gerard Butler’s bike. Full Story

Photo Assumption: Jennifer Aniston’s side-eye

Lainey Posted by Lainey at June 6, 2011 07:35:18 June 6, 2011 07:35:18

LOVE THIS PICTURE SO MUCH! Jennifer Aniston showed up with her brand new boyfriend Justin Theroux at the MTV Movie Awards afterparty last night at Soho House. So they’re public now. Already? The MTV Movie Awards – this is not Jen’s usual scene. Oh I see. Are we still using that playbook? Really? Jennifer Aniston has a movie coming out. Full Story

Blake is more naked

Lainey Posted by Lainey at June 2, 2011 07:48:40 June 2, 2011 07:48:40

Blake Lively’s publicist denied that the first batch of nude leaks were shots of her client. And there was a rather limp-wristed threat to sue too. Whoever released the pictures apparently wasn’t finished. Yesterday more images were distributed online, this time with captions, like a f-ck you message to Blake’s rep, challenging the denial, and providing even more “proof” that the tawdry shots are indeed of her – her tits, her ass, her body. Full Story

Prince William and Catherine are coming to Canada. It’s to be their first tour as a married couple. You know that famous shot of Diana hugging her boys, after not seeing them for a few days, she ran to them on that boat and embraced them enthusiastically? Photo here Full Story

Brange: Wedding for Oscar?

Lainey Posted by Lainey at May 30, 2011 07:55:12 May 30, 2011 07:55:12

Forgot to mention that in Cannes, Brad Pitt did a lot more press than usual in support of The Tree of Life. Normally he bangs off a few major, major outlets – CNN and NBC for example – is VERY selective, and doesn’t bother with the junket style situation. This time? There was a full on rotation in there. Full Story

Brange planning a party?

Lainey Posted by Lainey at May 26, 2011 07:31:28 May 26, 2011 07:31:28

Well this doesn’t happen often… They papped the Brange yesterday running some errands. They went shopping at a place called Soap Plant. Quick, let’s google! Here’s what came up for me: Soap Plant / Wacko: The Premiere Pop Culture Emporium of Los Angeles (with) the best selection of books in Los Angeles, art and design, deviant literature, lowbrow art, music, car culture and uh, sex!! Plus a dizzying array of vinyl art toys, wind-ups and collectibles. Full Story

Brad shaves, Angie in colour

Lainey Posted by Lainey at May 25, 2011 07:39:26 May 25, 2011 07:39:26

For her own premieres, Angelina Jolie seems to favour black. It’s for HIS events that she gets a little creative. Well, as creative as she can get, sartorially speaking. We’re not exactly talking about Kate Moss here. So it was a bright coloured Jolie last night in LA for the premiere of The Tree of Life which happened at the same time as the Kung Fu Panda 2 screening in New York. Full Story

Lainey Posted by Lainey at May 24, 2011 14:10:00 May 24, 2011 14:10:00

Well, Terrence Malick won at Cannes. But there were so many headlines after the Palme d’Or was announced on Sunday that “Brad Pitt’s film The Tree of Life wins the Palme d’Or” you’d think it was actually his vision. Money? Maybe. He has a producer credit on the film. Full Story

Canning Cannes

Lainey Posted by Lainey at May 24, 2011 07:02:23 May 24, 2011 07:02:23

Written by Sarah The Cannes Film Festival wrapped up on Sunday with the award ceremony at which Terrence Malick’s long-awaited The Tree of Life was given the top prize, the Palme d’Or. Last week after Tree’s mixed reception on the Croisette I posited to Lainey that Tree was more Oscar than Cannes, but she said no, that it was definitely more Cannes than Oscar. Full Story

Norman’s announcement

Lainey Posted by Lainey at May 18, 2011 10:06:29 May 18, 2011 10:06:29

Jennifer Aniston lost her dog Norman recently. He was 15. I can barely talk about this. For those of you who have dogs, I know you understand. My oldest, Marcus, is 8 in June. Marcus is my first dog, my 30th birthday present. And I am still obsessed with him. So I can imagine it must have been hard for her, I can’t imagine HOW hard it must have been for her. Full Story

Lainey Posted by Lainey at May 17, 2011 08:29:00 May 17, 2011 08:29:00

We had Brange as our top story on etalk yesterday and I can't imagine it was any different for any other entertainment show. They were the Main Event on Monday. Yesterday I described the process of getting credentialed for a red carpet here in Cannes - click here Full Story
