Last Friday, History Channel announced that it was pulling the Kennedy Family miniseries from its schedule. You know, the one where Katie Holmes is playing Jacqueline Kennedy? But as much as you want to drop a Ha Ha Ha onto Robo’s lap, this actually has nothing to do with her. In fact, it will probably help her. Full Story

What a smart move. It is the leader going into awards season. It will likely fight it out at the Oscars with The King’s Speech. It will probably win. But first, to sustain its momentum, the DVD will be released on January 11th. That’ll give The Social Network some extra kick. Clever, non? In service of the launch, and a very strategic campaign, all of the film’s major players were in Beverly Hills last night at the event including Jesse Eisenberg, expected to be nominated for Best Actor, Aaron Sorkin, a sure bet for an adapted screenplay nod, David Fincher, who will definitely make the Academy’s list of directors, Andrew Garfield, Armie Hammer, and, of course, Justin Timberlake. Full Story

Was it the leather pants in France? Is this what finally convinced Jennifer Aniston to give Adrien Brody a chance? Please. You must remember this from Cannes 2010. Adrien Brody in a brown baggy suit, all animal, yacht hopping during the festival like he’s the one who’s been giving Jay-Z his cool points. Full Story

Radar Online is reporting that earlier this year Marc Anthony allegedly owed back taxes amounting to almost $3.5 million. He previously had tax problems in 2007 when he was fined $2.5 million for not paying taxes for four years after he claimed he’d been frauded out by money managers. Full Story

I wrote about Natalie Portman’s pregnancy and engagement yesterday. Click here for a refresher. In the article I referenced a curious and creepy Page Six post about Portman’s now fiancé Benjamin Millepied and how he appeared to be “obsessed” with her during production of Black Swan. Full Story

Her people confirmed exclusively to Us Weekly yesterday that she will marry Hollywood agent Jim Toth. As repeatedly noted, celebrity gossip has a way of playing out over time. These are the shenanigans that make their sh-t so fascinating. Because two months ago, on October 22nd, Us Weekly announced the imminent engagement on its cover. Full Story

Like I said in the open, every time I’m offline for a day or two, or hop on a plane for a long haul flight, I live in fear of missing a big story, the biggest story being that the Brange will implode. It’s the Hollywood equivalent of a stock market crash, or a government collapse. It would usher in a new celebrity world order in the aftermath of great upheaval. Full Story

Joe Jonas hit up the Knicks game at Madison Square Garden last night fronting like he’s all manly man with the sporty sportos. Am very, very surprised that Ashley Greene isn’t hanging off him auditioning for a spot on the Knicks cheerleading squad. She doesn’t usually pass up those kinds of opportunities. Full Story

Last week Star Magazine accused Johnny Depp of cheating on Vanessa Paradis with some 19 year old trick on the set of Pirates of the Caribbean 4. This weekend he was shot in Miami, taking his kid to the Justin Bieber concert (Bieber shouted him out during the show) and yesterday with V and the children at the Dolphins game vs the Bills. Full Story

Sandra Bullock and the Best (and worst) of 2010 cover the new issue of People Magazine, the final issue of 2010. As noted yesterday, despite paying for exclusive photos from the wedding, they shoved Nicole Richie in the corner. It’s a tricky business, deciding on a cover. Who goes where, and why? Last week an online survey was sent out to “points” members soliciting their opinion about the next issue of People with several options to choose from. Full Story

Sometimes a movie sucks sh-t at the box office and it’s not fair. The quality was underappreciated. Sometimes a movie sucks sh-t at the box office because, well, it just sucks.
