It was a busy weekend for Rachel McAdams. She was at the Santa Barbara Film Festival on Friday. On Saturday she was with Spotlight director Tom McCarthy at the Directors Guild Awards. And then yesterday she was at the Oscar Nominees Luncheon to celebrate her first nomination. This is not the year that Rachel will win. Full Story

Especially if the rumours are true. Full Story

Gwyneth Paltrow is promoting the launch of her GOOP beauty and skincare line. She covers the new issue of Glamour. I prefer the photos inside to the one they used on the cover. That braided pony with the middle part looks great. Full Story

I can’t find any photos of Cameron Diaz on a red carpet in 2015. The last I remember her being on a red carpet was to promote Annie in December 2014. Two weeks after that she got married. And then Cam, one of the most well paid actresses in the world for a while, went quiet for a year. She hasn't actually been on a film set since Annie. Full Story

Yesterday I wrote about Leonardo DiCaprio and Don’s Plum, the film he shot almost 20 years ago with his boys Tobey Maguire and Kevin Connolly that he and Tobey had blocked from North America. Click here for a refresher. As mentioned, the filmmaker decided to make Don’s Plum available online for free. Full Story

Natalie Portman wants you to know she’s “back,” and can also hold a tune with Sia and Jimmy Fallon. She’s doing US press for the first time since Thor: The Dark World in Nov. 2013, this time for the beleaguered, woman-centric western Jane Got a Gun that she produced and stars in (which will likely flop Full Story

Leonardo DiCaprio and Alejandro G Inarritu were in Mexico yesterday continuing to promote The Revenant. Leo’s Oscar for Best Actor has been secured. But they also want The Revenant to take Best Picture (with an asterisk, because let’s face it, the winners this year will be overshadowed by #OscarsSoWhite). Full Story
