Kelly Clarkson posted this on WhoSay yesterday. Guaranteed she didn’t take a long time to write it. Not because it’s bad, or anything like that. On the contrary, it is straightforward and passionate – she maybe had one person read it over and then threw it up, shaking a little with rage but feeling better that she did something about it. Full Story

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are going strong, and despite the Oscar snub, my goodness is it paying off. Is Argo pretty much a lock for Best Picture at this point? (I hated it, did anyone else hate it? [Lainey: I liked it very much.] And I usually really enjoy Ben’s direction). The success of the Affleck campaign is due in no small part to Ben and Jen’s Walt and June Cleaver act. Full Story

Jennifer Garner did indeed accompany Ben Affleck to the BAFTAs. Must leave nothing to chance. Not until February 24. Not until the big show. She’s the Mellie Grant of Hollywood. Which is why while Bradley Cooper and the rest were getting sweaty and messy at the BAFTA parties, the Afflecks kept their game faces on. Full Story

Check this out -- Justin Timberlake hosted an art exhibit last night with Amy Adams showing the work of her partner Darren Le Gallo. JT’s wife was there too and together they had their moment with Paul Thomas Anderson who, of course, directed Adams recently in The Master, for which she received yet another Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination. Full Story

Will she? B’s been criticised this week for stealing all the lights at the Super Bowl and not being Madonna enough or being too into herself or showing off too much skin or cockblocking the girls of Destiny’s Child and, of course, not wanting to look ugly so... I mean... She could decide to turn down her Beyonce for the Grammys on Sunday. Full Story

The BAFTAs are happening on Sunday. WHY DOES IT ALWAYS HAVE TO BE THE SAME DAY AS THE GRAMMYS?!?! And it’s Chinese New Year on Sunday. So Monday will be busy here. But I might be a bit slow getting going because of the celebrations. Anyway, Ben Affleck’s Argo has been nominated for the BAFTA Best Film and Best Director. Full Story

Justin Bieber’s mom, Pattie Mallette, was on The Today Show this morning to promote the movie she’s “executive produced” called Crescendo. No, Pattie Mallette isn’t just getting into showbiz, Pattie Mallette is getting into the business of reproduction. This movie is a biopic of Beethoven’s mom who, FUNNILY ENOUGH, just like Pattie, became pregnant at a young age and after wrestling with the decision to keep the baby or not, delivered unto the world a musical superstar. Full Story

Bey for a Bargain

After the off-brand BuzzFeed debacle -- Beyonce can’t be ugly! (seriously has anyone heard from the publicist Yvette? I’m worried for her) -- Beyoncé yesterday announced that her Mrs Carter World Tour tickets will be very accessibly priced, with tickets as low as $45 (and as high as $1300 for VIP packages). Full Story
