After the off-brand BuzzFeed debacle -- Beyonce can’t be ugly! (seriously has anyone heard from the publicist Yvette? I’m worried for her) -- Beyoncé yesterday announced that her Mrs Carter World Tour tickets will be very accessibly priced, with tickets as low as $45 (and as high as $1300 for VIP packages). Full Story

Victoria Beckham is featured on the March 2013 issue of ELLE UK. I’ve attached the cover here which... Please God no, let that just be the light and not LA Face. It’s not LA Face, right? The interview is pretty insightful, although I’m not sure if that was intentional. Full Story

This year we get the Afflecks... You know how hard the Afflecks have been working. Last night, from the moment they arrived, it was work time, did you see? Ben Affleck hit the carpet before Jennifer Garner did -- she must have been held up getting out of the car. As soon as she joined him though he was right in her ear -- downloading information/gossip/strategising, whatever it was, she dutifully nodded, understanding the game plan, gave him a quick kiss, and they were off. Full Story

There’s an article in The Hollywood Reporter this week about Debmar-Mercury’s potentially revolutionizing formula for television syndication, and I wanted to read it and think about the future of TV, but I got stuck on one of the details in the article. Debmar’s syndication deal is a “10/90” structure, meaning they make a ten-episode first season, and if that hits pre-determined ratings marks, another 90 episodes is automatically ordered and produced. Full Story

She is still a pose-hard on a red carpet but... Lea Michele smells a lot less Try these days, non? She smiles more than she open-mouth gapes when she’s getting her picture taken. And the smile seems sweet, genuine, rather than desperate. Maybe I’m letting an assumption inform my observation. Full Story

Daniel Day-Lewis was in Madrid yesterday promoting Lincoln in a peacoat and scarf. Judging from your email and tweets, you really enjoyed this, as did I. Bradley Cooper was also in Madrid yesterday, also in a scarf. As you know, Coop has been nominated alongside DDL for a Best Actor Oscar for his performance in Silver Linings Playbook. Full Story

There’s lots being said this week about the whole Jodie Foster coming out situation but, because my heart wants to drag things down to the lowest common denominator, I’d like to use this as an excuse to talk about how gay One Direction is…or at least how gay One Direction pretends to be. Full Story

One month ago today – Monday – is when she had the baby. A BABY. She was completely and totally pregnant (and striding around Toronto, I thought he was going to be Canadian) and then this is the result a week later. I mean, I don’t know what to say except that’s genetics and discipline and commitment to your goals, and this happens sometimes. Full Story

Sometimes I almost feel bad for the really good actresses who can’t just act anymore. They also have to be singers, designers, chefs, perfumers, models and winemakers. Everyone Does Everything (EDE Syndrome) is real and it’s part of the reality of building a long-lasting, lucrative career. Full Story

If it wasn't clear that Taylor Swift has turned the paparazzi and the tabs into her own personal trolling machine, here's the proof. These are pictures of her heading back into the studio yesterday, for the first time since she supposedly left Harry "Real-Life-Daniel-Cleaver" Styles and his adorable gay-baiting ass in the Virgin Islands for good over the holidays (not enough time here to talk about 1D gayness, but oh how I fall for it!). Full Story
