March Madness + Vegas
That must be the reason. My excitement over wall to wall all basketball and being in Vegas at the same time and the bing bing bing sounds coming from the casino floor and free drinks and hopefully finding that Elizabeth & James jacket I should have bought in LA and what the f-ck, where is my bitch because a reader called Renee sent over this little interview with JailBait and her boyfriend that I’d not seen before and, even though I can hear her speaking, that f-cking annoying voice, I’m not finding myself hating...
Am I going to be ok?
It’s a video from their Teen Vogue photo shoot in Paris – Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth sitting, almost cuddling, on a couch, unable to hide their affection. I love young love. It’s infectious. It’s ... hopeful. It’s like corny ass birds singing. And it can be so deceptive. I wrote virtually the same thing about Rihanna and Chris Brown when they were together. Not that these situations are the same, not at all, but there is some insight we can glean about ourselves and our perspectives from the projections we place on young lovers. Remember when love was only passion and no pragmatism?
Anyway, they’re pretty cute. And obviously totally into each other. And it’s no accident that they want me/we/us to see their movie. But I’m still in love with their love. WHAT THE F-CK IS WRONG WITH ME? Watch this while I find my bitch.
Re: Liam – he’s HOT in The Last Song trailer. Like HOT. Look quickly and he’s a healthier version of Hayden Christiansen. But Liam, since the movie, he’s not really hot anywhere else. I think he filled out too much. Oh. There she is.
